The Beatmania forum is intimidating but I figured I should grab my balls off the shelf and jump in! Huah!
Some videos make my brain melt into a puddle of pure bliss like Reflection Into the Eden, SWEET LAB, Icecube, Watercube, Pentacube, Sequence Cat, Infinite Cave, Madrugada, Arabian Rave Night, blah blah... (and it'd be great if I could be pointed towards others) I have failed Reflection into the Eden and Watercube so many times because I'm like "oooo, pretty... video..."
But some like Programmed World, four-leaf, garden, Yabis Starlight, blah blah... kind of ruin the song for me. And they're good songs too...
I mean, 99 times out of 100 the videos are either good or amazing but there are still horrible videos that must be rooted out! | |

When I'm concentrating on the notes, most videos just look the same from the corner of my eye. There are a few exceptions though, but I wouldn't say they ruin the songs for me...

I think some videos actually help me perform in the songs... Giving visual cues and stuff like that.
I usually have graphs over the videos though, so I can only see parts of them =P

But even if it's from the corner of your eye you can still tell the flow of the song from the video, not to mention even at a glance the original videos are great
I was listening to Taito no Suika and it would be so awesome if it had a video treatment like Kung-Fu Empire. Like the pastel style it has but with more motion. The current video's ok but...
