Wasn't Battle Breaks on IIDX US?
As awful as that mix was, it had a lot of good 5-keys on it.
More than anything from old Beatmania, I really miss all the Slake songs and remixes. Those were great. Overdoser, Sparker, some of the other ones, too..
Like I said earlier, around 6th Mix, Beatmania started getting truly refined. Pink Dream, Jack and Mark Get Busy, Asian 573... and Final's list was also pretty awesome. The game's notes become a little more melodic and slightly less percussive.
You guys and popcorn. One of my favorite earlier songs was "Hunting For You." I play that song on Beatmania whenever the girlfriend and I can get in some 5-key time. I sing all the lyrics loud, and off-pitch, to attract as much attention and to bug the crap out of her.. good times.
But yeah, maybe we should keep listing songs that should make a comeback. | |

I wish Konami they would give them videos instead of choosing generic IIDX videos out of a hat. Even the songs that originally had videos don't have them in CS DistorteD and GOLD. | |

I never said there was a remix of the Nahanaha vs Gatchoon battle, but DJ-Battle jodler remix is definitely on core. God that was a weird remix :P
