What is a "good" IIDX player?

Phew, you guys are nuts. I can't see how it's possible to train your brain (and fingers) to do 12's and such....then again, like any other rhythm game, it takes practice.

*ahem* back on-topic. I like the notion of the stoic L7 barrier. It's one of the hardest songs on L7 and if you're clearing this consistently, you're probably ready for 7 key. I can *ALMOST* clear it...i've cleared some easy anothers though, like Radical Faith and Electro Tuned. Then again, I always do better on songs I know like the back of my hand. I've played DDR for YEARS, since the 4th mix days, so I know pretty much any song that's been on DDR before, at least on EXTREME and before.

Yeah, when I was playing SM people thought I had abnormally good timing for how long I'd been playing. I wasn't good at passing hard songs as much though.

As for Bloody Tears that's probably one of the easiest 10s to AAA, I think it was my first.

I played cello for like 394875 years though, and DDR for about 5 years.

Oh, and to comment on your other post, I'm the opposite. I can clear harder songs that most of my IRL iidx-playing friends, but most of them score better than me on 10s and below, even though they can't clear 12s.
I have reasonable timing, just not amazing. I'm hoping that will improve with time. Then again I don't play below 10s often. Oh, and my first 10 AAA came after my first 10 Full Combo.

well it should basically be unspoken, but anyone that has to play a 5* song that many times to AAA it is really awful at the game.

I might just have to kill you

(The highest I've ever gotten on a 5 is an A, I don't think I could get an AAA if I tried; I'm awful, yes, but not really awful)
