What happend to Captian Jack???

Im new to IIDX but I use play 3rd~6th mix and there was captian jack songs that I liked (R u ready for the race, are you ready? oh oh oh aoh). but yea, whats the deal with him

He died, I think due to a heart attack, but I am not sure though.

He was/is one of my favorite artists in DDR...

Yeah. Also, all the stuff of Captain Jack's that was in beatmania was from the Dancemania compliations. Konami hasn't liscensced any music from Dancemania albums for IIDX.
