In reality, IIDX has customization options and you can just combine these skins into one SIMPLE game. Obviously, you've never played a IIDX style other than BMUS.

You know, if it's just themes you want (I even read your post in the feature requests/submissions section about having a red bemanistyle), just change shit around yourself to match your needs instead of having some ridiculous wishful thinking shit.

Marketplace Rating: 8 | serious for a moment: v and colors are songs that are likely to be recognized by people in the us that have played other bemani (and by other bemani i mean ddr). in the case of v they should recognize it if they care about music AT ALL
they tried to put on a good number of ddr songs but honestly, as much as i'm sure everyone hates this, if they wanted it to actually be SUCCESSFUL they needed more dumb american licenses, just like home version ddr

And don't tell me you haven't imagined something or wished for something in your whole life. You're the only ridiculous thing I see here. You make no sense, you just want to flame people because you have nothing better to do.
But back on topic, a lot of gamers think just because a certain game company hit a bump in the road means they totally fail. So BMUS didn't do a good job. Does that mean they can't come out with something better? I personally think if Konami tried and appealed to both the Hardcore and Casual gamers with its most popular franchise (well, in Japan) Beatmania could be really successful. If Konami showed Americans how unique and intuitive Beatmania is, they'd buy.

Are you one of those types of people who think Guitar Hero has mainstream popularity for reasons beyond pretending you're playing already popular songs?

Marketplace Rating: 1 | Um, Konami DID try again bringing IIDX to America. They did location tests for GOLD and everything. But there's still practically no interest in the game aside from people that are already fans of the series.
At my arcade there's a Beatmania III, I've had plenty of people watch me play and show interest in the game, but they're all put off by the complexity of the game. The fact is, unless people are already fans of the series, they're probably going to be intimidated by it and they'll never try it.
As for future home versions, that's not gonna happen. DDR's popularity is solely because of its arcade presence. DDR was successful in arcades because it's interesting and simple enough to get you to try it. IIDX in all honestly looks confusing and intimidating to someone who's never played before.
And released a retarded PokeIIDX Red/Blue certainly isn't going to get people interested in IIDX.
