When the hell is konami gonna catch up?

Its long past due that Konami moves on to next gen. Either 360 or ps3 is fine by me. However with ps3 we do have the huge advantage of a 50GB disk for a huge song collection.

Even options like 480p are missing from ps2 versions of the game. Why hasnt that been included so people with horid lag lcds can play too.

Has there been any mention of moving to the next gen?

They have said that EMPRESS CS + PREMIUM BEST will be the last one on PS2, so I'm assuming that means they're moving to next-gen afterwards.

Konami will lose sales overall because many players do not have a PS3.

And Konami creating a huge song collection will result in loss of sales in the long run for Konami.

IIDX is premium game with a niche fan base. Making a game with 300ish songs and charging $100 will net them pratically the same volume of sales as selling them at $60 with $60 songs.

Also IIDX doesnt sell well because of ps2 install base. Install base is not a factor. I absolutly think ps3 has enough units to sell the same volume if not more. It might sell more just off the factor of a new coat of HD ness and larger song list.
