Piano Concerto is based off of a song by Virkato Wakhmaninov, a pianist and composer born in the Caucasus Mountains near Russia.

The term "Anti-ares", is based off of the Roman god Ares, god of war. It's a visualization of the bright-red flames of war burning into the sky - hence the name "蠍火" or "scorpion fire" and the candles in the video.

No, it's Wac.

Sergei Rachmaninov was Wac's inspiration for the song, hence WAChmaninov

For comparison, Wac is the composor for songs such as Moon_Child and Spica, but he uses different names for almost everything he makes.

You do know that Virkato is just an alias made up for the artist wac, don't you?

The whole backstory on Virkato Wakhmaninov is just meant to be slightly humorous and like Trick said, it's wac's way of giving his own tribute to Rachmoninov.

Also, the name of the song is most likely meant to be "Antares" (going with the star theme of Wac's other songs like Regulus and Spica). The name derives from the Greek ανταρης, meaning "holds against Ares" (which is where "Anti-Ares" comes from). The whole reason for the "Scorpion Fire" translation is because Antares is the brightest star in the constellation Scorpio (The Scorpion) and is a Red Giant (associated with Fire).

Good explaination. I don't know it it's the case, as Wac has never said himself, but it definitely sounds valid.

Oh, Antares is a binary star - only one of the stars is red. Small potatoes I'm sure, but just a note.
