Why can't the Military Splash bosses ever win?!?!

I understand that the better you play, the more "energy balls" you fire at a certain boss creature, but why can't the boss ever win at the end? I think it would've been cool if the end of the song depends specifically on how you play. Like if you don't get a certain amount of perfects or whatnot, the boss doesn't die at the end or something like that.

I always thought you needed to PC the song to kill the Military Splash bosses. Because otherwise the health bar never drops down far enough and they just escape into wherever.

I'm pretty sure this is correct.

Technically I guess it would be them killing you if you don't clear the song.

neat thought, but I mean no one really looks at the background while they play, its a cool feature for people that are just waiting I guess.

It would be neat to have cool power ups after a certain combo or whatever.

Yeah, I wasn't sure which one you were talking about. I thought maybe you meant the Gold video had a fuck up clip. Makes sense that it doesn't...

I'll boot up 7th when I get home.. there's only one thing I remember out of that video, and that was the reason it was removed.

And that's the reason people fuck up why FC'ing the damn thing.

Although I do have the habit of zoning out while playing and just staring at the video while playing.

I still pass but damn my score takes a hit.

When I was playing MENDES, the boss will fly away if you didn't clear the song in the end. But the other 4 bosses would explode anyway.

If you clear the song, the "boss" eats it. If you fail, it departs. It has nothing to do with your score or how depleted the bar is.

Maybe there's a special reward for all Just Greats, but of course I've never seen it.

Or maybe this is a homage to Fightingmania! Y'know, where the enemy's health is completely irrelevant! (Hey, that's what came to mind...)
