Also, Xepher is on it. This is a large detractor for a lot of people, believe it or not.

Listen, a lot of those guys are messed up. Seriously. I know; I've dealt with them. You shouldn't go there looking for sound judgments. For the most part, it's just sledgehammering their opinions into everyone else's heads (given the several thousand "Fixed!" misquotes to date).

You don't understand what's bad about Happy Sky? Fine. Neither do I. My verdict, get it.

Of all the versions running Windows XP (meaning 8th and below are NOT included), I see Distorted as being the worst probably because of boring ass song select music and slow loading (before HW was bumped up for GOLD and DJT).

Just my thoughts. Of course, I'm fine with any BM IIDX version (that does not run on phased-out Twinkle hardware)

Oh don't get me wrong, my favorite style has to be either 10th or HS. I just REALLY hate Setsugekka :P The abysmally terrible Another chart has actually managed to ruin the song for me.

I really like the [A] chart of Setsugekka. Except for the middle where it's all precise button presses or bad news bears.

HS was the 2nd IIDX game Ive purchased (1st one being BMUS) and I loved every part of it. Sure, some of the songs are stupid, but who cares. I think every Bemani game has their share of (I dont like it) songs. I cant say anything about the timing since Im considered a n00b. Point, nothing bad about HS that I know of.

Happy Sky ranks as one of my favorites, personally. And, now owning 3rd Style through GOLD, I'd call it my 3rd favorite, being beaten by 10th Style and GOLD, in that order.

While the songlist for Happy Sky does lean heavily on J-POP, I think the main problem most people probably have with it is that it visually and musically doesn't really fit IIDX with the overly bright theme.

I just wanted to know if there was anything that completely detracts from the game as a whole. And I could care less if it is gloomy and dark and whatnot.
I'm really impressed by the donglist so far, Sigsig, l'amour, frozen ray, poodle, first resolution, inazuma, etc.

It's just their opinion. Yeah, some songs were terrible on there (Pollinosis....ugh), but there's some great ones (Little Little Princess, Eden, Xepher, Happy Angel, Twelth Style, Scream Squad, etc) not to mention CS songs & e-Amusement (In The Sky, Dawn -The Next Endeavour-, Sayonara Heaven, Angus Dei, Himawari, Pink Rose). Again, that's just what they think. We think it was a good game, & so do you.
