why no "random" for gallery pics

i think this is the one thing I would like to see random more than anything! Why unlock 60 something pics in each CS game only to rarely see them after a great play in Free mode. Since most of the practicing i think happens in free mode, this random pic thing would be great... if nothing else at least the CS games should incorporate the expert pics into arcade/free mode pics.

i think this is brilliant, i am just curious if other people would want to see the art used more or not.

future CS suggestions for sure!!

Expert pics are designed to give you something to work toward while playing expert courses.

They also give you a reason to play them.

Since they were designed with the arcade in mind as a daily reward, they keep that same format in the CS versions. Imagine playing expert and not getting a specific pic at the end of the course. It would make playing expert courses worthless. Konami makes you play them by giving you a specific reward.

If you want new pics, just score more AAAs, they're pretty nice all around.

what do you mean i have both colors of both AAA pics the girl and the guy.
there are only 4 pics plus color alternatives in the regular modes... that is not a lot of pictures.

while i understand UNLOCKING the pics in other modes are necessary (its a good way to get people to play the other modes)

i have all fourteen expert pics unlocked as well. i guess you just dont get my point.

I think what he's saying is that after they're unlocked they should be thrown in at random on a good score in free mode. I agree with ya on this one, that would be pretty awesome. Optional of course, but mix up the daily pics as say...AAA pics in free once they're unlocked.

yeah mr racer seems to have the point!
i personally used to think it was a lil exciting to see the score judgment screen at the end of the song.

now with the ghost bar you know your grade level before even getting to the final screen. there is no suspense anymore because of the graph on the right. the only suspense may be if you got any goods or not or IF they incorporate this new random picture idea in the following CS styles.

i am not sure where to submit ideas to konami nor how to express this idea in Japanese but i can certainly try. i guess i could cruise konamistyle's site. i just want more people that would agree so we can attack them in numbers and improve the game for next time...
there are so many GREAT editions for CS IIDX games, this would just make it better.

Really it's not a huge deal. The course pictures fit with each other as a set, and seeing the different pictures when you do certain things (courses, class mode, A, AA, AAA, fail miserably) is an easier way to identify how well you just did. If you really care about seeing the pictures so much, they put in the gallery for a reason.

That's an alright idea.
I think that you should be able to update pictures via internet.
(PS3 IDX hint hint)
Come to think of it, I know none of you would agree with me, my IIDX for the PS3 would be AWESOME. It'd be just IIDX but 50 times bigger.
I'd buy a PS3 for that.

it may be okay, but getting the pictures strictly on the AAA, AA, and A basis and expert courses and whatnot is what makes IIDX truly IIDX.

Its not what makes the game, I wouldn't go that far.

But its certainly a feature that helps to define the genre.

Personally I wouldn't mind more AAA/AA pics and stuff this time around, and not nearly as many expert course pics, but in the end, as long as I have them all, I really don't care either way.

I personally would like to see already unlocked pics randomly too...

I usually get stuck around A on 12CS and keep seeing Siren, Siren and more Siren... >__>

i certainly wouldn't mind more randomly placed bikini pics, but they've gone the way of the dodo apparently. i just get tired of seeing the static techno imagery after clearing a song, even when i get a A sometimes. maybe a "congratulations" video clip or a "way to go! you're not as bad as you look" message...
