Anyone else upset over AX not doing exhibit hall only badges this year? I was expecting to just go there and pay the small fee but my friend told me there's no such thing this year. I didn't believe him until I checked the site for myself. Ugh... $30 for a day. If I checked sooner, I would've registered early like everyone else.
Yeah, it is a bit of a bummer. I quit watching anime a long time ago. I go to AX these days just to see if there's anything worth buying in the exhibit hall, to mess around in the arcade, and to shoot photos all day.
Yea man same here. I don't watch anime as much as I used to but I still love to go see if there's anything worth buying. I only paid $15 last year to get in the exhibit hall and bought over $100 of stuff.
Aside from that I'm excited they have Technika but lots of people watching me makes me a bit uneasy and I'll probably be screwing up alot while playing.

But anyway I noticed the exhibit hall has a technika station set up on free play. I tried to get a turn but there were way too many people crowded around and I'm not big on crowds watching me play so I passed on that.
Other than that, the arcade seemed to be ok this year. I just didn't like the fact it was moved further away from the area it was in last year.
Saw some awesome Technika players yesterday! Both at the booth as well as the arcade! Also really loving the attention the PM Studios booth is getting; they deserve it.
Haha, I only showed up on Thursday since I'm working the rest of the weekend. I would like to go the other days but AX seems a bit pricey these days... The arcades are also overpriced and my money is better spent at AI anyway. The only reason I would go now is for the exhibit halls and to check out the cosplayers. We'll see about next year.
So how's the crowd looking for Technika? Super long lines, or just a lot of people watching you play?
I had to wait almost 30 minutes just to get a turn at the arcade. Too many people were putting their coins in line and not knowing when to go and such.
And lots of people just watch at the exhibit hall.
