We ended up with a pretty good written coin line system. I'm personally running out of money for the arcade so I'm hoping others will enforce it as it's a fair system for everyone. When more than 5 coins get put up there, that's when it's nearly impossible to remember who goes when. Unless everyone is responsible and honest, it just turns into a big fight for who goes next.

Hey Comet you are probably the first person from these forums that I met in person. It was nice to meet ya. I didn't say much but that's because I wasn't too sure whether or not I knew your name from the forums. I would've stayed longer but I had to backtrack and go do some last minute shopping since yesterday was my last day. Then my friends wanted to go to the AMV's so I waited like 2 hours in line for that. Not my exact idea of fun..I would've stayed a bit more but oh well.

I just hope Technika will be back at AX next year. I'll definitely go all 4 days again.

Most of the people in the AX arcade fail at basic coin line operations

Quarter placement does not matter in a coin line, when you placed it matters. All the quarters look the same, you won't be able to tell shit apart.

Putting up your platinum card up there is dangerous also, having it stolen won't be cool. Maybe your school ID or something instead would be a better idea

Hello's out there to serika, spiritsnare, devilkhai, zerocide, randall, butters (SS dat course), and anyone else I met over the weekend.

Shoutouts to Carl and Moondabor :3

Also, that's too bad that you weren't able to stick around too much, Saber - hope to see you next year!

I'll be there once again tomorrow from 11 to 2ish, passing out pocket guides and whatnot. I'm really glad Technika's getting a lot of attention from the congoers, people are freaking the fuck out about it, it's great. :3

Technika was getting so much playtime at PM's booth. There was literally not a single instant the game was not getting playtime. Huge hit at AX, with some people even saying that "PM Studios [was] the best booth in the dealer's hall."

Hello! It was nice to meet you guys this is Allie, or Jamuko here and everywhere. You may have seen me hanging off DJComet like a cancer. It's about time I registered here =X

I only just played Technika for the first time on Tuesday, and already got addicted. I live out on the East coast which is desperately lacking in Technika machines, so I'm gonna try to get some in arcades out there. Thanks to everyone who gave me materials and whatnot to assist that!

Speaking of promotional materials, Jamuko - check your e-mail.

PM Studios was partially to blame for my first AX being a good convention experience. I've tossed a handful of convention ideas to Mike Yum, so perhaps he'll be passing by other areas, too :3

Carl, great seeing you. I met a few others, said their home arcade was SVGL, didn't get their names. Didn't really spend a whole lot of time in the arcade or at the PM booth as I spent 99% of Saturday and Sunday shooting photos. Wish I could have gotten to meet the rest of you.

For those interested, my photos can be found here: Anime Expo 2009 - a set on Flickr

Shoutouts to ThatsGobbles, Kage/JUSTKHAI, Zerocide, and like a million others throughout all 4 days. Fun Fact: Sombreros are only funny until you have to wait in a line. Then they're HELL.

I was split between PM Studios and J-List, just because they gave me porn, and that's pretty hard to top. Unless it was rhythm games AND porn. Hmmmm...

It took me six Anime Expos to come across one I can put at the top of my list, but 2009 definitely earned it. And believe me, it was hard trying to pick a winner between 2009 for just all-around awesomeness everywhere I looked, or 2006 when my roomates and I had nightly patio BBQs from out 1st-floor, parking lot adjacent hotel room. Oh, did I say BBQ? I meant PERSONAL DEEP FRYER. I still miss those bacon-wrapped corn dogs we made.

Oh. Right. AX 2009. YES.

I wasn't even in the market for a PSP up until the final hours of the final day. Then I caught a copy of Fever that was being thrown out to the crowd at the PM booth right above my head. Next thing you know, I bought a PSP.

Thanks guys!
