I so went on Monday after school and got 3 games in. I was happy. And a game of Keyboardmania but that is hard.

Taking a magnet to a tube TV is what fucks it up in the first place. And yes, Ken has tried to Degauss it, and it does nothing. The problem has to do with the internals of the TV and not the screen itself. He's willing to buy a new monitor, as long as people keep playing.

I recall it also having something to do with the BOSE speakers he has on each sider of the monitor. If you remove them, there's no discoloration unless it's permanent at this point. You can actually move them away from the screen and take away a few inches of discoloration, but it doesn't really mess up the game play as one would think. Whites stay White, the Blues start off as red until about 4 inches down the screen.

Not that big of a deal, really. I don't notice it anymore at this point.

um.. so i got -50 to -150 than what i usually got in the machine with official timing update..
But I got higher score than before I played in AI.. It might be the slightly timing update effect.. or I just improved :P

Oh.. and it takes me a couple rounds to get my nerve to response correctly to the discolored notes since I havnt play on this machine for 1.5 months. And playing double is just crazy.. one side is green notes while one side is red notes, and one say is red blue scratch and the other side is.. whatever....

some kinda Guilty Gear thing going on, the machine is pulled out to the center of the arcade.

Parking was amazing, it was half empty at 7pm but the drive to get there was retarded. Just about every freeway was jammed out of the ass.

i tried double on iidx and sucked. i guess thats what comes with not playing double for nearly a year.

i think it's time to play old songs on gold.

saw hidehide today, he showed me his e-amuse card from macau... SO JEAROUS

some dude was being a real asshole with the drummania machine today. i put my token down when i got there around 10:15-10:30, then i saw like, 11 tokens on the machine so i waited a good amount of time just playing iidx. then around 11:50 i asked if i could go since i was waiting, and this is what i got in my face: "ive been here since 9 and i never saw you here, don't give me that shit" could've just said "no" then everything would've been just fine. i'm easy to convince. i guess he must be a cop since he's an asshole. i'm not all that great on drummania or anything, but it looks like only the ones who really suck at the game like to be assholes. WHAT A SHAME

i guess its not just drummania either. i've had someone literally scream at me when i stepped up on the bass platform for iidx and about to pick up my token in line, "HEY THAT'S MY TOKEN!!!!!!!!!!!!@$@$!!@!!!!!" and honestly it really was my turn.

i like being a salaryman and not having much to do after work, so i can come on weeknights and avoid people who act so low.

Oh yeah, I went with Zane yesterday but I had to go home so I didn't go late at night. I'm probably going to start going more often though. I still have a fuckton of tokens too (15 dollars worth)

i always get $20 changed for the extra tokens ;] i just keep them in my car since i might feel like going to AI at a whim =P i think we should have a picture thread or something, on how people keep their tokens. it should be interesting
