You talking bout IIDX GOLD right? lol I'm barely getting to 7's.
BTW I was there yesterday and I was playing IIDx all day. And I wa the big dude wearing the blue shirt.
And is it me or have those keys on the machine seen better days?

I'm gonna be hitting up AI around 1-2ish for a few hours before I head down to San Diego to pick my brother up :x

I suck at IIDX too. 6's and 7's for me so far. And 6 on HYPER.

Yeah, keys on the 2p side seem a little worn out. Same with the turn table, not very turnable. Could've just been me and my freezing hands though. Ugh, I hate playing with cold hands, makes it seem impossible, hurts too!

the keys didn't seem bad at all when I played yesterday. The only thing wrong with the turntable is that it is a little bit stiff

Try playing when you haven't played in a while, its quite the discouragement when you fail songs you normally pass

Yeah, I know that feeling. But then there's the feeling of helplessness when you usually play sitting down, but there just happens to be someone that jacked the chair before you could grab it to play. I hate standing while playing, I do horrible...

yeah the 2p turntable is stiffer than before. but too loose is bad also, since you might get goods on scratches when you did it just right and whatnot... right now it's at the debateable stiffness.

i wish i could go tomorrow... i just might cram it into my schedule... we'll see...

Yah too sensitive cant be good too. Does the machine simply get upgraded from each style? If so then I understand. 1P side is pretty loose too. One good spin, it will go almost five times around! I need a ride to go to AI whenever I want to go. T_T
I wish someone will carpool.

dm cymbal is in good working condition now i think. FT2 cymbal break = no problem.

iidx 2p side turntable feels the same as last time i think, but maybe i was just moving my wrist better today.

Yeah, it's just been upgraded. It would be freakin' sweet if Ken bought a new machine for DJT, but I don't see it happening. Even if they only get the upgrade I'm one happy camper

No I mean does the machine at AI get upgraded? I knew its been GOLD for some time now. So I guess I can't complain with how loose the TTs are. Theres a nice big crack on button 4 I think on P1. And if my memory is right some LEDs arent working on the keys.

the LED's never worked for the keys since like 2 years ago... =P

when the new DD kit came about 8-9 months ago, the keys were replaced. the keys up to happy sky were starting to weaken in response a little.

as far as i know, the keys are the same from DD up to now. turntable may have changed last time though when everyone pretty much noticed it.

i think AI's iidx machine is very well-maintained, as well as other machines. i dont think extra costly stuff like key LED's need to be replaced. he did that for dm anyway. the lights are back on the pads =P only loose end is the timing update with gold, but when we get djt we'll get that anyway, and i'm quite used to getting significantly worse scores at AI, so it's all good.

Not that it matters considering Im looking at the screen 99.99999% of the time.
The machine is still well maintained though.

I misses the last few scratches of Crossroad every single time!! and also the 3 scratches in never...
