Dude, that's so early. I kinda have a job, ya know?
I think it's just the dust and stuff. And also sweat, maybe. Since AI doesn't have carpet, the pad just stays like that >.>
Wrong. There's an Asian player who goes to AI and Super Arcade periodically who actually puts baby powder on his shoes before playing. By the time anyone notices, it's too late and the pads are slippery as hell forever.

Bring a spray bottle with water. It really helps a lot with the glossy plastic arrows used by DDR Cabs. Just spray the arrows then spray the soles of your shoes and wipe hard.
I was at AI today, playing mostly pop n 14. I was playing mostly songs from pop n 13.
I am glad that the machine's volume is higher than the last time I went a long time ago. Though it's best to play when you're the only one in the arcade.
I've never gotten a chance to play pop'n since there's usually people surrounding it and since I've never played before, I don't want people standing around watching me.

Oh don't worry.
Seems like most people don't care enough about pop n to watch it. I only got one viewer today that actually watched my game. All the times I played pop n at AI, I only got a few viewers I think.
