Hahaha, Troopers was actually installed Monday night (10 min before closing) and Ryan was the first one to play. Think Ken told us not to post about it since word would spread fast anyway.

I'm pretty sure the line will stay strong throughout the week. With that comes the line confusion.

"Am I next?"
"No I'm Next"
"Get outta here, I've been waiting since last year to play!"

Think it would be possible to have like a clipboard + scratch paper beside the machine or on the broken boxing machine for line order purposes? It would probably make line order a much more simpler ordeal.

just make sure who you're supposed to go after, and communicate it to everyone there.

of course, this often does not work with the kind of effing n00bs that infested troopers today...

The problem with that is that when the line gets to be about 7 people long, the wait becomes insane. An average game lasts about 10 minutes. You will be waiting an hour before you get to go.

Most people can not just sit there and watch others people IIDX all night long, they must be able to go play other stuff like 3rd Strike, drummania, pop'n, GG, etc etc etc.

Locking people down into a line might solve the problem but would also irritate lots of people due to time wasted just sitting there watching and waiting. This can cause regulars to come at odd times instead of coming all at the same time, which is good and bad in different ways.

That is VERY true. Points well taken. Most regulars take full advantage of the Extra Stage. I actually think the whole clipboard thing is a good idea. That or use one of those eraser boards. I can probably get one for today. In the end, good business for AI!

It's still better than my country, they all played expert even there is long lines :P

I agree with ultracarl.. yea.. and AI can earn more too.. like today, I won't play gf if there is long line for iidx.
My suggestion might be too selfish :P

I completely support the clipboard idea. Went yesterday after work around 7:30pm and there didn't seem to be a little line already and then it just kept building. Got to play 3 rounds at the most. Man I love DJ Troopers select music more than the Gold and Distorted. I might think of going again but the line might get crazy again (which i don't mind so much because its fun for met to watch more experienced players A<->AA songs).
