I really don't see why people would drive that far to play Bemani.

It's an amazing series, but 8 hours is insane.

I would only do that if I was going on a vacation in that direction, or staying there.

DBV arent you closer to SVGL anyways?

Downtown Long Beach is about 30 min to AI.

During the school year fridays and wednesdays navfn2003 and I would drive to AI 1.5 hours round trip just to play DMV.

Going to A.I. for 8 hr. drive is nuts.. (Freeway only like 30 min. or higher for me.. Not far..)

Oh yea.. I visit A.I. yesterday, playing Pop'n Battle alot. (Because my sister is in my side and I can't get her bored. >.<)

I wore the same clothes (and clean too..) as the last visit i've been though.. Took screenshots (via cell-phone) of the characters (mainly my hilalious loss...) on end of music.. ^^;

They were hosted at my DA Scraps right now, if you want to check them out.. (Username: Chaotic-Kyubi)

P.S. I forgot to add this, but during my Pop'n Music gameplay, I smelled like theres awfull gas in the arcade.. >.< Thats where that scent gave me a headache when I come down from the place... @_@ Thank god my headache is gone, but I hope the scent will go away once I come back, which is unknown at this time...

maybe just DMV for you (and probably GFV as well), but I played IIDX and Pop'n also.

and probably no more of trips like that, i'll be commuting from home from now on, so I'll have my own car. (and my place is coincidently a shorter drive to AI

)

btw, I may be going tomorrow. I just started working 35 hours a week (and yes, I'm sure a lot of you out there will say, "35 hours? That's weak, I work such-and-such hours without breaking a sweat!" but for me, it's really draining) and I badly need an AI break.

Zyxyz, where do you live? If you're not too far off, I wouldn't mind picking you up.

SVGL blows now.

DDR supernova = broke as fuck

and DM is the only game there I like; and it's broke 50% of the time and the stools are like made for shaq or something.

also, I wouldn't go down there (to AI) all the time or something, i'm talking like once every three months at most type thing lol, but I have a friend down there who lets me stay w/her so that's cool

having grown up on it since 2000, it's kind of became something that got intertwined with me a lot.

it's like, if every DDR machine in USA just exploded, i would care less, but the idea of "music game" is just burned forever in my body/head etc.

basically, I like to play the newest games in the DM/GF/DDR series, as soon as possible, just for playing them. so i'll come down to AI to play V3 when they probably get it (as i did when they got V), and then not come for a while haha

Yeah I was there last weekend. The bass pedal seems kinda whack and the toms are worn out too. I never liekd the stools there. I cant pass onihime ext because of those stools. Everytime I play that song on those stools I am going to fall over.

Long Beach. Don't know which part of LB, but it's a relatively small city compared to LA.

Anyway, Richard, around what time are you heading there tomorrow? I haven't seen you or Tim in the longest time there :\ It's the occasional appearance of Sid and a few Max Tune/3s friends, or I go there with Omid for DDR nowadays.
