Last year when Melty Blood vB2 came out, he was talking to us NONSTOP. It was like a pickup line, "Hey did you beat Kingdom Hearts 2? OMG did you see the Kingdom Hearts 3 Trailer?" ... to everyone. He would talk about the latest strategies, and tactics, framedata this and movelist that. But when it was his turn to play. MASHY-MASHY.

He thought it was a good idea to hold a tournament at AI, weekly. This was before i was any good at the game, but if there was a tournament at AI, i would know about it.

Reference and drama-bomb kept for posterity and LULZ:
Example of how NOT to run a tournament.

Basically ken moved the machine to the middle, as he requested, but forgot to tell ken to set the machine on Event Mode before he left. After Ken, left we figure out that this guy has NEVER run a tournament before, and didnt even know how to draw out the fucking brackets (it took another guy to help him). And after that, we didnt even have enough people to fill the brackets, so he went down the stairs, and SOLICITED random people to come into AI to join a Melty Blood tournament. Needless to say we didn't start on-time, and the whole thing turned into a mess. PISSED OFF a lot of people for wasting gas driving down from Simi Valley. He got banned from the forums as well as a ban from future tournaments.

Fast-Forward to the release of GG Accent Core. They had a ranking battle at Family Fun Arcade, and 3s, and etc. He was there too, talking nonstop to people, and basically annoying the hell out of everyone, to the point where they complained to the staff and referred them to the arcade enforcer. Now, if anyone knows who MattXChin is, he's a big Asian guy, chill dude, and intimidating as fuck, but basically told him to stop annoying people and get the fuck out of the arcade.

Now i see him every year at Anime Expo in the console room or the arcade. He knows enough not to talk to me anymore, but relegates to hatefully staring at me.

I don't mean for this post to pass judgement on this guy. So if you enjoy talking about Kingdom Hearts, and fighting game strats, and/or whatever else. He's your guy. If like me, you got SERIOUSLY annoyed as fuck, the magic words are-

"Don't talk to me."

No seriously. I'm not joking. I'm pretty decent in Guilty Gear XX AC. He wouldn't stop talking to me. I felt like drop kicking him. I can't believe people give this guy a ride to AI. I swear, I even saw him at Evo 2007! WTF how'd he get to vegas? Scary shit.

Avoid the weekeday afternoons about a couple hours within opening, because that's what I seem to accidentally bump into him the most.

I just played the, I'm asian/fake fob so i don't know how to speak english well enough card to get him offa my back.

yeah christian you were probably there when i was there because one of the dudes were standing on the iidx platform while this guy was playing and he did not get off for the longest time

he was just staring at the screen and the guys hands (i think)

he then got off and started to stand on the ddr machine and talk to me about random stuff i already knew and it got a bit creepy

the other one was playing popn and went on like what do you think is a good 32 for me cause i only play songs i like and never to gain skill and i like this one artist etc blah blah blah

lol i wouldnt be surprised if his name was "fucky" or someone did start calling him by that.

anyways random story, some "argentinian not american" dissed my video on youtube where akira plays 4 songs in a row. here's what i did:

1. i went to his account, left a "everything you said makes you a fag, not me. fuck you" message on his one and only video
2. removed his comment from my video
3. blocked him

now i hate argentinians lol

You should join our conversation actually lol, it's getting pretty interesting. It's usually lively around 7:00 pm-12:00 am. Just pick a time in between. Friday and Saturdays are a good time to come in.

Yeah, generally afternoons during the week aren't that busy, but still a good time to come in and play whatever you want without having to wait in line. Weekdays are usually the days that needs the most business though...

A little off topic but anyone free July 25 - 26 (Fri & Sat)? Because I'll be in San Diego those days and Ken says it's Ok if I find a friend (somebody I can trust) to look after the arcade those days and I let him know who it is. It's an odd request but PM me if you're interested.
