Played DMV5 today. The hi-hat seems to be a bit unresponsive, especially with quarter notes. Hopefully it'll get fixed soon.

the hihat will still register but there's a very peculiar strength/velocity that you have to hit it at. most of the blame goes to the people that shamelessly slam on every pad =P from what i've been told, a good number of arcades in japan also have the same level of responsiveness on hihat and snare. it's good enough i suppose

there was a lot of people on v5 today so i played iidx and popn mostly.

regarding the dm hihat! obviously if you slam on the hihat it won't register. ken has adjusted the hihat a little, so speedy hihat rolls will register better. so if this was a problem before, it has been remedied a little bit. =P

unlike the recent wave of my presence at AI, i will be a bit low-key until i come back from my vacation in japan. leaving at the end of the month.

but i think NICK WANTS TO GO CHOKE SUM BUFFALOES SOONISH

I was there yesterday. V5 is cool I just had some timing problems with it. Other than that Azumanga Daioh Puzzle Bobble is all I have to say.
