ok

all of our players retired last year to go play poker, but then i havent heard any 3s players from norcal. Where Ricky Ortiz these days? And as far as i know, last year 4 socal players won EVO East and West for the japanese spots to play at SBO in Japan.

But also, as seen at the last EVO and SBO, 3s is dying REALLY FAST. Everyone here moved onto sf4. Tekken didnt catch on here, and i'm not saying its bad but theres not enough to foster a community.

I went up to norcal last week. SVGL uses a card system now wtf? When I played Technika up there, I got swamped with questions about my card.

I swear Corey lives at SVGL 24/7. I always see him there when I go.

Well the only fighting games I like are 3S and Tekken.. and I'm aware they're both dying. :< Hella sad. I just don't like SF4.

And Ricky is still around.. I don't see him play much though.

We've had the card system for about 4 months. It's great to not have to carry a crap-ton of tokens everywhere, but it's easy to lose your cards. (On the flipside, it's also easy to find cards )

HAHAHAHAHA... Honestly it used to be like that with a lot of people but I hardly see Corey anymore. I think last summer I ran into him randomly at school or the grocery store more often than I saw him at SVGL. But now that Technika is here everyone practically lives at SVGL again (at least I do...).

Went again today with a big group from UCLA. Technika was down, unfortunately, but I got a lot of playtime out of the other machines, and I got to talk a lot with Stacy (she's very nice!) I'll definitely be coming back as soon as I can.

Also, Stacy, I WILL BEAT YOU AT LEAST ONCE IN TETRIS.

Hey I finally got my Technika card. Thanks again to everyone who passed it on. I think it's been obtained by at least 7 people ... and it's funny cuz I saw Mike Yum yesterday at the SVGL event thingy. -__- But really, thanks guys.
