You do realize this is So Cal and you also realize that people would go the distance for an arcade no matter how far it is. People drive from the valley or UCLA daily just to play a game they can probably play somewhere else that's closer to them.
So to say "I can't think of another place for a Arcade to open up" is like saying "I can't think of one good reason why Danny Boy is a stereotypical beaner
It's business and you can put an arcade anywhere there's bored teenage that have nothing else to do but jack off, skate around and do illegal shit. Interface (Simi Valley) was the jackpot for those bastards out there since there's nothing else to do there but skate and meet bitches on MySpace.

Marketplace Rating: 3 | I'm going up there sometime this week and I'll be talking to Ken about everything. I'll report back with official word on what's going on overall. I was contacted this evening by Nick who said that Ken wanted to talk to me regarding V3 kits he was getting, so I honestly don't know what's going on as a whole and need to find out for myself anyways.

Then we have a Lazer Star which only has a DDREX when you're talking in terms of Bemani. Putting the arcade near the entrance to the 10 Freeway would be great too since it'd be easy to find.
I'd like to hear everything that's going on with AI from Ken, so find out soon DjP.

You got to be kidding! O_O
I.. I.. I don't have any more words to say.. T_T I hope I can come back to AI before it's all gone! And this is my first experience on Pop'n and other games! (Well, mainly DDR, but I never get a chance to play Beatmania! X_X)
Give me more info soon, okay?
EDIT: I hope they won't leave.. Just as long they have the machines for the happy peopole to play with! (I don't want to spend more bucks on getting mod-chip and Pop'n accesories and games...)
And I made my word i'll take pictures of more Pop'n in-game! (Mainly Wilhelm...)

It's AI.
I don't think their business would work anywhere else that I can think of. The majority of the people that went there were eihter from around the area or drove to it to play it's games.
If you move it, the majority of the people who would go inside AI and actually play it's games would only now be the people who drive to it, and not the local area's people. Sure people would go in and spend money, but it's hugely about location.
I mean, if the local people did go there, there surely will be a decrease in people that go, which will definitely not be a good sign for Ken dealing with money.

True that location plays a part in the success of a business; However it's not like only the locals play arcade games. There are other cities with other people. The location at Life is not the only chance they have to make it.
Take for example Super Arcade. Right after class, that place is booming with business from the Mt. SAC students like myself. It's also right next to Lollicup, Naked Fish, Jack in the Box, Upper House, and other food places. Don't forget anime stores for all the otaku.
AI, if they move that is, just needs to find a good location for themselves. Hell, planting next to any college would work actually. Just make sure you nestle it between some food places as well. I guarantee you that if you stick it somewhere near West Covina, such as the Edwards 18 Theatres, you'll get some great business. Barnes & Noble, Best Buy, Movies, Fat Burger, Cold Stone, the the Mall, and even a few....subjectable shops
