IIDX now has a crispy CRT TV woth accurate timing! Think back in the days of DJ Troopers but without the discolored regions onscreen. Thanks utj and scott-indestructible (sorry I had to do it) for helping me pick up the TV, and thanks to Eddie for clearing it with Ken.

Now that we've made this change geared towards timing, I want everyone to play LOTS! I know it's a bit of a tall order seeing how AI has a number of new games now and everything (I'm sure you knew what games, no?), but do it for the sake of our favorite hangout. By that I mean AI.

p.s. DDR is...!?

Now that we have a new widescreen CRT TV, GUESS WHO'S BACK INTO IIDX!!! me, ryry, and chris of course. It's still empress with better timing. We can start playing competitively again.

Nice work on finding a replacement monitor! Last week key 7 felt really worn out on the 2P side. Adjusting from playing on a KOC at home and playing at Ai was the spread out turntable.

BTW what monitor is it? How is the arcade hardware hooked up to it (vga)? Where did you guys get the monitor?

as soon as i got there and got one game of iidx in, i went and adjusted the trapezoid/parallelogram thing, and also the colors. it is no longer crooked on 2p side! looks and plays amazing. i'm very happy with the turnout yesterday -- overall iidx and technika were consistently occupied from 7:30ish to very very late.

key 7 feels fine for me but i'm still rusty from not playing seriously for months...

people play TGM3 and pick sakura or Shirase mode by mistake and they get pissed.

we need to put english instructions on that...
