dude scott u weren't here yesterday!! ken fixed most of the problem so it plays fine on single player mode now! the only song that lags a little bit is "waxing and wanding" and that only happens when u choose some mode but i saw some ppl play it waxing n wanding n it was fine. The loading is the same as in Japan. And u don't really play 2player mode neways :P neither does a lot of ppl so just disable to score ranking mode when ur playing u don't need to play with that shit anyways. What matter is playing the game and that it's here and most of the problem is fixed.

no, since the first day- heres what has been fixed...

some non-cardinal gate songs stopped lagging

security error and crashing doesnt happen anymore

some songs will load fast

the title screen doesnt freeze out the start button anymore

^^^ those are the things that are fixed..
and so if you can get past some loading time for the songs, and play on single player, and non-cardinal gate songs, with score ranking off. than youre all set.

OH just 1 minutes ago, michelle just sent a txt message saying distorted was fixed (again), i'm not sure if she means completely. Fixed? or Stable?

I just got back from AI. Was there from about 6pm - 8:30ish?

It was working fine when I got there, played a couple times.
At the end of Samba De Janeiro, like the last 2 measures I was hit was some pretty sweet lag. But afterwards it was smooth sailing again

I asked if the cardinal gate songs were okay to play. Was told that waxing and wanding lags and the others were not sure. I picked that one with all japanese letters and it lagged right from the getgo, but afterwards it was lagging afterwards as well. Played Apocalypse and it lagged as well.

The machine got restarted and played fine for one game. After I got off another person got on 1P side and started playing and it was lagging pretty bad already. No cardinal gate songs were chosen after the restart.

Also the machine is now 4 Tokens

Forgot to mention, during my last play I played Empty of the Sky [a] to see if it was only DistorteD songs lagging, but it lagged pretty badly as well

Yeah I was there as well last night around 6-10pm and finally got to try a few games of DistorteD as well.

UltraCarl was nice meeting you I was the white guy in the black dress shirt and jeans. After you left I played several games playing only single player [Hyper] and avoiding songs that were not in the default songlist (cardinal/etc) with the exception of Mint.

A while later Ryan/(VF4 dude that plays hidden (sorry forgot your name) showed up and I told Ryan about the trouble we were having earlier. After his first game he also tried playing all hyper single player and he later told me that had no lag as well on the games he played as well.

The lag is not exclusive to DD songs as VF4 dude played Scripted Connection [A] and it was among the worst i've seen so far. Certain songs are more lag prone in [A] mode it seems, and possibly vice-versa.

Other that that I had fun trying out DD, hopefully you guys will have better luck the next time you work on the DD kit. Either way i'll be back soon enough for some more games.

(As far as I know, it's the first two songs and Atalante only, so no major issue.)

dammit, well it looks like I'm gonna have to try something else. I'll work on getting the issues fixed guys, Ken hasn't contacted me at all this week so I was unaware of what has been going on, either way I'm in touch with some people who might know how to fix it, so I'll ask around and try to get it all resolved ASAP.

No, it didn't stop lagging. My first game I played, every song had trouble. My second game, I played and everything went fine.

It's not the same type of lag that the machine was going through when the kit was first installed. Instead of a slowdown+staggering notes, its consistent pausing every 4-6 seconds throughout the song.

I don't think that the another/hyper selection has anything to do with the skipping though; I watched a few people play the same anothers I had trouble with, with no problems at all. It seems pretty random when the machine will mess up. ;(

Hope you can get everything fixed soon enough. :D

Just a update.

I was there from 1 til 3:30, today.

So far, I didn't see any problems with IIDX DistorteD while I was there. Everything seemed to go smoothly. No song lags or skips.

Hopefully this means it's 100% fixed... besides the song loading, which I can deal with.

I was there at last and there are "fans" playing BM2DX DisorteD. So I don't have time to wait there. (Same result for SuperNOVA, which it's a shame...) Instead, I was playing Pop'n, and "SueprStar" (I forgot his username...) came once again. (You know, talking to me? The arcade is sitll loud as usual, that I can't hear him saying.. XP)

Yeah all night it seemed DistoreD was working perfectly with no lag on any songs the entire night till closing good stuff hopefully it stays that way.

Edit: Yup all songs played fine. I'll try to head back tonight or Wednesday after work.
