I noticed Distorted a few weeks ago, and that was a pleasant surprise. It says only 1 coin is needed, but it's actually 4.

Anyway to change the coin/credit display to say x/4 coins or x credits?

Ah, Eddie told me that it would remain off due to some HDD or Hardware failure that would be resolved with installing V3, so if I don't go today I'm going as soon as he installs it

I know 4 coins may have to be done for business reasons...but offering 3 songs for 4 coins makes me sad... This goes for Drummania (haven't played Distorted yet). Seriously, for the price of V2 and the limited song selection added, I might as well be back at Super playing V getting 4 songs +extra for 4 coins. Not to mention the Long songs don't cost 2 stages. This makes me sad, AI.

4 tokens is considered cheap. if you think its expensive, i'd have suggested you avoided Gameworks back in the day. Or for that matter, ANY Las Vegas strip arcade.

5th and 6th style at AI used to be 6 tokens back in the day. and we all played it.

Haha, I remember back then those were the days... I remember the first time I played 3rd Style and it looked like I was playing on a glass mirror. <3 AI

I'll be there tonight after work, probably around...8 - 8:30ish. If no fix..then hopefully next Monday it'll be there, along with V3. More interested in playing DistorteD though.

I know it's cheap when you compare it to areas outside of this one, but when you take a look at Super Arcade's prices which is 10 minutes closer to me than AI, it's cheaper.

I used to play at gameworks when they still had the cards. I'd spend $20 and play DDR all day. lol. But I've heard they removed the day pass cards.

As for the LV Strip, I know the gameworks there is expensive, so I never bother, Excalibur was okay for a time. All of their Dancing games have pretty much disappeared except for that one DDR next to the Resturaunt (unless they added something in the past year).

What can I say though, I'm cheap, and think it's a good thing when arcades compete for prices. lol. Besides, why did this become a "Oh, so you think THAT's bad, well..." conversation anyways. they're pointless really...just gives someone something to argue about if they like fighting, which I don't.

Edit:: anywho, I went to AI to play Drummania again. There was no problems besides the speed up and slow down/music cut off when I played Atalante again. That seems to be the only song that it happens to (that I see). It also happens randomly in the song too, it's not just one little cue that makes it happen.

Hi, welcome to an internet message board. It's a place where people have opposing view and arguements, and basically the users (like me) can steer the conversation whichever was we want, as long as its relevant.

Pointless? I'm making a valid point- you just said its expensive, and it's actually not. You said that 4 tokens for 3 songs is bad, but actually it's been a lot worse before. Point is- i'd justify V2 being more expensive because its newer (and better?) than V, but your arguement is like, "Hey why play supernova when extreme is right next to it and its cheaper?"

one would expect a slight price increase once it gets upgraded. I know I usually do.
It's the price to pay for the newer stuff.

Except that AI's machine is in much better condition than Super Arcade's. Do they still have their broken hi-hat that's impossible to roll on? You know it's bad if you see Akira (who can S Children's Sketchbook at AI) fail Get It All. ;/

And I hate their bouncy bass pedal.

Well there is a sign posted on the AI drum that says "Dont play first or second song, game will freeze." That there should be enough. But on a different note, I was there last night, played DistorteD but..none of the Cardinal's lagged for me, only Mei did. Found that pretty weird. It did lag for some other guy who played waxing and wanding. Other than that i didn't see what all the fuss was about except for the long loading time. All in all good time.
