Unfortunately, I didn't ask anyone there about being BemaniStyle forum members. I was only allowed a limited amount of time there - I actually got to spend 80 minutes there instead of the 60 minutes originally allotted by my parents and grandparents, because they were stuck in traffic coming from the shopping mall. It took about an hour to get there from Beverly Hills (we were coming from the Getty Museum), and I wasn't thinking much about BemaniStyle.
(BTW, we were vacationing in Los Angeles, so that was the only reason I was able to come (aside from a VERY GENEROUS family and the fact that my birthday was in less than two weeks).)
Anyways, it was a ton of fun! I had never played ANY of the games (besides DDR - still, I had never played SuperNOVA in the arcade). I didn't get to play Pop'n Music, since I went to the other music video games whenever someone was at the Pop'n machine, which was pretty much ALL THE TIME (between 3:45 PM and 5:05 PM). I did get to play DDR SuperNOVA, Beatmania IIDX 12th Style - Happy Sky, Dance Maniax 2, Para Para Paradise 2nd Mix, Drummania V2, Crackin' DJ, and Keyboardmania 3, so I was very happy.
P.S. Guitar Freaks and the tamborine game (I think it's called Shakka To Tambourine, according to
DDR Freak) were off that day. In addition, DistorteD is not on the main floor, and neither is Drummania V3 (I heard (on this thread) that AI had both of those machines, but they were having trouble with them.). Nonetheless, it was still an incredible experience! (Peoria, IL (where I go to college) only has ONE bemani/music video game machine - a PIU Zero machine downtown.)
