Ouch thats a stab to my heart. A IIDX machine with no monitor.
Also I think that asking for IIDX Gold is asking a little too much. Happy Sky or even Red would make me the happiest guy ever, considering I live 5 minutes from the place.

that's if the owner's willing to put in that $$. but i'm sure if i went to cyberzone to play iidx every sunday... and there were more like me... w00t? haha.

i'm personally thinking about that tv if i were to build a music game station thingy in the future when im made of money. iidx, gf/dm, pop'n all dj dao'd up rofl

oh yeah i found out that even tube HDTVs might lag. so CRT widescreen SDTV is what they should go for as long as they can find it.

You have to play at SVGL a few months back to realize how plasmas aren't the best for beatmania. A lot of the images on beatmania are pretty static, so screen burn in will occur very quickly.

Last time I was at Cyberzone which was probably a year or 2 ago they had a TV for the IIDX machine but they couldn't get it to work. :X

well, cyberzone still hasn't improved much - new sega prize-grabber machine with disney dolls inside, some sort of mounted alien vs predator shooter, and 2 maximum tune 3 machines. I still go for its sentimental value, but I've pretty much lost hope in seeing any new bemani. -_-

edit: things they got rid of: non-working pump GX machine, those two dumb bicycles games and motocross game (actually I'm not too sure, one of them might still be there), iidx cabinet is gone(my memory's hazy on this one too). Old Ps2 game systems in the back are gone.

Drummania's still bad (especially the bass pedal), and the ddr/pump machines might need to get cleaned on the inside sometime.

Last time I was there, they got rid of the cabinet (7-8 months ago), so I don't think that's possible. You can check though.
