DDR World Record Event - May 19th, 2008 - Nokia Theater

I've received word from Fox Broadcasting that they are planning on breaking the Guinness World Record for the most people playing DDR at a single time in one place to be entered in the Guinness Book of World Records: Gamer’s Edition. This event is to help promote the season premiere of “So You Think You Can Dance." On Monday, May 19th, 2008, we need people to gather at the Nokia Theater (across from the Staples Center in Downtown Los Angeles) to participate in this event. Registration for the event begins at 3:00pm. If you guys can make it down, please post here so I can follow up with the gentlemen over at Fox on how many people they can expect on our end. (Participants must be 18 years of age or older.) Please spread the word around because we all want this to be as successful an event as possible.

This event was pretty fun...Not to mention they allowed everyone to take home free goodies. And some cheap DDR pads, but it was free so it was me!

It was fun, especially getting free stuff and free play on the DDR machines (2 - Extremes, 1 - 5th Mix, 1 - Max 2).

Yeah, and a ddr pad that we all used for the record thing....PS2 pads....I've been playing on them at home. They work good..And they light up at the top....I picked up 4. My buddy picked up 6. It was to cool. Like I had mentioned if its free then its me!...LOL
