I didn't see one for this, so here it goes.

Also what is the status on the IIDX machine there? Does it have a new screen blah blah blah etc.

Edit: I'm headed down there now. I'll post something about what is up.

Edir: not bad of a place. At least the beatmaniaIIDX is in sync with key presses. Havn't been able to play like that on an Arcade version in a long time. The monitor wasn't a 16:9 TV but oh well. At least it wasn't that shitty big screen back when 6th style was up.

I also heard the place was going to close down. If anyone has any word from this please post.

I haven't went there for a long time. The last time I went there, some games were shut down. From what I heard most of that area near the arcade is shutting down as well, also seeing that El Torito and that pool hall next to it closed down already.

Family Fun is not going to close down, and they didn't change the screen yet.

That's why I said their "isn't" a widescreen monitor for the machine. But it was changed from the BIG screen they had a few years back. To a Sony 4:3 ratio TV. Which is alright I guess.

But as far as the place closing down, no word from the actual owners. But it has been talked about because of the other businesses that closed down. It's only been a couple months since it was "rumored" about it.

I was there on Sun and the IIDX buttons sucked ass *both sides* And also the ITG2 cab is one of the worst upgrades i have ever played on. FFA is the best for Marvel and 3s IMO.

DM10 was working surprisingly well yesterday. I never thought that the machine would've ever been fixed. Plus, it's only $.50! GF11 wasn't working, though.

Hopefully these machines get upgraded sometime this year. V should be available somewhere, especially since V2 or even V3 should be coming to other arcades. Just a dream, though.

Update: apparently the IIDX machine is now working. YAY!!! I managed to get close to a "AA" on mon. So that's good news.

played with the IIDX machine today. it still works good. i still wish that they upgrade the machine to something higher than 8th. i like how they have a paper towel as a towel for it. hahahaha

What that machine needs is the code to unlock all the songs, it bothered me that no one was ever able to get that.

I've seen more and more peeps play IIDX @ FFA. I say if we keep it up the owner might decide to upgrade the machine *and hopefully the monitor too* I think that IIDX Gold is out of the question. But HS or DD is very good IMO.

Seriously an upgraded monitor should come first. LOL but an upgrade to 12 or 13 wouldn't be bad either. I wonder who AI sells there stuff too.

good question. Anyone want to ask the owner about upgrading the machine??? He should contact the guy @ AI so he can tell him how much his Gold Machine is making

if only we could find the hardware upgrade for the IIDX machine then we can go for upgrading to higher styles
