played with the IIDX machine today. it still works good. i still wish that they upgrade the machine to something higher than 8th. i like how they have a paper towel as a towel for it. hahahaha
LOL that was my idea. I grabbed a paper towel from the restroom and that paper towel lasted for two weeks. :3
I should go there sometime. I only know two place in Califiornia with DDR Machine of any kind. One is a boling place and the other is the shopping mall's little arcade. I don't care what kind, just as long as it has arrow and screen and it work. Granada Hills? I don't think that far is, since Granada street is only a few minutes away. I'll go try and find it. Is big the place?
Wow, it's been a year since I've been to this arcade and it still seems to have that crappy TV, well since I will be visiting for a week in Cali might as well go to A.I. I guess.
dead thread revival! blah. so i asked what was going on with their iidx machine and it seems they're trying to look for an upgrade for a reasonable price. as of now, the machine is dead and it sits there next to the BMIII. DDR pads are fixed as of 5/12 . they took out the GF but the DM is still there. it would be a great help to find information on an iidx upgrade. i know A.I. is the closet place to a IIDX machine, but i want one closer to home. :[
8th Style HDD for the IIDX machine failed. finding an upgrade kit for 9th and up is extremely rare and is pretty much out of the question. For any fixes or "upgrades" it will have to be 8th style or below.
That being said, Nick has a IIDX Substream kit handy, go ask him. You can play Been So Long on 4-key.
Last I heard was that they already had the Happy Sky upgrade but were missing the post 9th style hardware upgrade... at least thats a start. How does AI always have the new stuff? Can't FFA ask AI for help with this, like using their distributor?
