I didn't go to the DD tourney because it clashed with Masquerade, which was somewhat enjoyable. And as for pop'n?

I'm sure AmazingKenchan can talk more about this than I can, but from what I can recall, the Animelo-type machine lacked the kind of power plug that the Fever! set required. It's perhaps worth noting here that the machine was originally an Animelo 2 machine, that Kenchan attempted to set Fever! up with - over the course of three days, in which OnCampus Entertainment, the people behind the scenes at the arcade, failed to cooperate.

On Sunday, while playing Animelo with my friend Rokujou, we both snapped and obtained my pop'n CS setup from her house. Everyone who has played on the set while I was there has thanked me greatly for bringing the set. Asuka245, who is the head of e-gaming (correct?) told me personally after witnessing a few rounds that he will tell Arcades not to bring Pop'n next year if they're going to half-ass it.

In a twist of perhaps ungodly irony...Fever! AC did get set up ten minutes prior to the end of the convention. I didn't believe the news myself (he sent me a text message with the news) until he publically announced it.

Yeah I'm totally disappointed with them. OnCampus actually stuck around last year and fixed shit, this year they came back only to load more quarters in the quarter machines. I called them a few times when people came over to the eGaming area for help, each time I called them they said they'd be back in a few hours just needed to take care of some stuff. We barely got them to fix the cymbal on DrumMania. Other than that, I didn't see them really do anything.

yeah, i checked out fanime this year when I though i wasn't going to, lol. Most of the time at the arcade I just played drummania with a tall guy with red hair (sry, cant remember name right now). I saw a few guys from SVGL also. I too was disappointed staff wasn't available. I won a prize from the Fancy Lifter" that was stuck on the ramp. ARG! Oh well, at least they had point blank 2, haha.
