Good news: They finally got a SuperNOVA machine in.

Bad news: It's 26 credits per play. At Gameworks, $1 = 10 credits, so that's $2.60 per play.

Still, since my move to Wildomar, it's the only SuperNOVA machine even close to me.

Wooot!! I'll prob go this weekend just to give it a try. For those who live around the IE i heard rumors of a Super Nova cabinet coming soon to PSM and JM.

What deals are there at Gameworks--if any--now? I remember they got rid of the $10 Tuesday/Thursday thing a while ago, which was a big blow back when I used to play Max Tune 2 a lot

I just remembered: 4-7 on the weekdays is "Happy Hour" and games are half-price.

i'm heading over there this weekend. I'll be tempted to play, but since its the weekend it'll probably be crowded. wait in line behind seven players to pay 2.60 for a game I haven't played at the arcade (the older versions) for over a year?

those are some what proven from what eugine(the arcade guy) has said to my friends and i last we saw him truth be told hes accualy planning on having 2 of them by oct

went there Sunday morn. Couldn't find it at first. They replaced the "dance stage" with a mini bar and cashier station. So we went upstairs, looking like asses trying to find it. My gf and I finally spotted the machine in the corner near the entrance.

First time playing Nova, and it was nice. The pads were flawless, and there was no crowd or anything. Gameplay wise, the interface is clean and crisp, the timing may be off or it may have been not playing in several months, I don't know. The female dancers dance pretty sluttily, to the dismay of my gf but to my enjoyment. Emi, you little scamp. Jenny's just an outright whore. The generic vids are pretty, um, generic, or maybe its cause I had dancers on?It seemed like there were no changes, just the dancer on a stage with a psychedelic background. DoLL and others were of course their IIDX counterpart, which was nice, and I only got to play seven songs, before my gf started getting bored.

If you don't mind the price, it's definitely a dance destination in my book. If only they can get a IIDX or GuitarFreaks machine now...

Eugine is a great guy. He needs to throw another Fighting Game Tourney @ PSM, and he also needs to bring back ITG2. I miss it................ BTW does anyone know why they took the BM III machine there????

Just a heads up: Someone posted a flyer on the SuperNOVA machine stating there's going to be a tournament going on Sept. 16th at noon.

Hopefully I'll be there, but I kinda suck at DDR, so I'm not going to be in it.

Unless you have at least 10 Heavy AAA's under your belt AND are used to SN timing, don't bother joining.
