Ranked up to High Class today finally! I'm also very close to completely owning the machine here with my scores. I only have two more to beat: JBG (ROBO) and Miles (DUSTIN). I AC'ed Miles in Electro EP today for the first time but haven't been able to do it in Pop since. One day!

top screen's busted again

So this location pretty much sucks now for Technika. My season pass is expired and I have no drive to support Boomers any longer given how shitty they've treated their machine.

For about a month now, the top screen has gotten worse and worse. It started out just ghosting and having high contrast. Then it started flickering. Now it's just plain useless. And all this time I've told them to check it out and with no response or anything. In addition, the volume is now way low and Guitar Hero Arcade is way up.

At least I have every high score on that machine apart from Miles. But still. I wish Boomers would pay more attention to their arcade rather than the stupid go karts and shit; that's what their affiliate SpeedZone is supposed to focus on.

Too bad.. D: I was kind of looking forward to go there and hopefully meet fellow DJMAX fans.. I am currently looking for the nearest yet most decent place to play Technika.. I just moved to Tustin from another country so I do not know much, geographically speaking.

Oh, hey! Tustin isn't too far from where I live at all!

The second best place to go is CGL if their machine is not being laggy like it has been lately. Until they get their act together, your next best bet is all that way in Rowland Heights at Arcade Infinity. But for me, it's a good 50 minute drive and isn't nearly as close as CGL or Boomers.

CGL? Jah I google-map'd AI and 'tis 'bout 28mins by car from where I live. For me distance doesnt really matter if you are getting good quality service/entertainment/vibe from the place. I hear the only downside is the bathroom.

CGL is Camelot Golfland. It's right off the 91 from the 55. About half the distance of AI. They also have some awesome pizza there!

So it's been a month since the last post in this thread. Has Boomer's made any attempt to get Technika up again? AI is way out of my way so I can only get up there every few months.
