For those living in and around Milpitas....
Do you often go to Great Mall? If so are you there to hang out, go shopping or watch a movie?
And what have you experience at the mall and what are your favorite stores?
Also while you are at the mall do you play a little bit of DDR at Starcade and/or D&B?

The Great Mall is personally a low-tier mall for me, but on the other hand, I don't really have a reason to go to any mall. Ever since they killed Media Play, though, it feels like it's gone downhill.
1P DDR Extreme @ Century works okay, last I checked. I'm not of D&B age so I can't go in there.

I stopped going there since they took out the Oakley store.
the only other reason I went there was for Arbys

The only reason to go there for me is the Pump It Up NX1 machine in the mall... but those pads are awful and poorly maintained, so I just end up going to Davis instead. 
MGL still has a Pump It Up Zero machine in better condition, but... it's Zero and old. | |

I don't know how many people share my view, but if I play a game, I'd rather not have some random group of strangers stare. It makes me feel like I'm obligated to perform something cool for them - which I'm not, of course, but I get that feeling anyway.

Bah, i remember going there the first day, apparently it was a really big deal BECAUSE NOTHING HAPPENS IN MILPITAS!! except the smell (don't build cities on landfills kids!)
Back in the day, the place to go was Wonder Works....the namco arcade. Played tekken 1, mortal kombat 3, and crazy taxi when they first came out. then friggin Dave'n'Busters came and ran them out of town. then there was the van's skate park, they had 5th mix and other games that never worked...and that died. then there was a lan cafe where all the managers from the theater went and fragged in battlefeild. then that died. stupid mall...where am i supposed to find a great chicken philli sub now?
