Myself: head to Milpitas Golfland for some PIU Zero action as well as punishing myself on Supernova and the ITG2 in between PIU rounds.
Rest of family: Head to Great Mall for great deals and a chance to do quality shopping
Later, I join them, and everyone's had a fun time. This plan has to be done since I live 25-30 mins from Milpitas in the PIU-less city of San Leandro. Sunnyvale doesn't have a Great Mall to work with, so driving the extra 15 minutes to get there after 30 mins from San Leandro is not horribly pleasant for family. Not to mention, Sunnyvale lacking PIU is just too painful, even for IIDX, my second favorite rhythm game, and a chance to play pop'n music.
So IIDX in MGL would be icing on the cake, since that would mean that my two favorite games would be in one area. beatmania III is fine and all, but a lovely Happy Sky would be way too awesome for words.
This reminds me of the fact that I wished I had a car of my own. :P

Only my family doesn't usually go to Great Mall. That, and I'm practically IMPRISONED in my grandma's house most of the time on Sundays. All we do is EAT and SLEEP, well, at least for me and my brother. Occasionally, we bring stuff in a desperate attempt to entertain ourselves, but the atmosphere is boring nonetheless. Can't watch TV (my family watches TFC all day). Can't talk to anyone (most every teenage relative I ever knew moved FAR, FAR AWAY, e.g. Sacramento, and my parents won't even schedule trips unless 1) I have 'an appointment' with any of them, or 2) we get invited to a party, LEST WE GET INVITATIONS, IN WHICH WE DON'T.
That's why I don't go to the Sunnyvale Golfland. I'm already stuck in Milpitas as it is.

STATUS REPORT (2006/11/05)
ITG2 machine has r21 installed and is in decent condition.
KBM3 machine has a jerky 2C key on the 1P side (2P side not checked)
DMX machine's coin slot is broken.
All keys for BMIII are working.

I saw a big 'Out of Order' sign on the DM machine, but judging by someone recording a video while I was heading towards KBM from TC4, I guess it's in OK conditions. GF, I don't really know.

Marketplace Rating: 3 | PIU Zero still working well? As long as that machine is fine, all's well in MGL for me... r21 can't replace a working Zero machine for me unfortunately...
though a working SC3 machine and DM machine would be ideal as well, but I can play a working and somewhat well-maintained DM in CVGL...

And maybe I'll try out the PIU Zero machine the next time I visit. Hell, I'll even play doubles for the sake of testing all 10 pads!
Here's my 5 bucks for the next time I go.
4 tokens for PIU Zero
3 tokens for ITG
12 tokens for TC4 (best progress: Stage 2 / Area 2 midpt.)
1 token for KBM, provided there's a coin already in there.

Marketplace Rating: 3 | CVGL = Castro Valley Golfland (which is in commuting distance from where I live)
PIU Zero = exists only in Milpitas for Bay Area locations... might as well play an internationally renown game you won't find anywhere else in the Bay Area! Although I hope they get PIU:NX when it comes out... it sounds like it's going to be great when it comes out at the end of 2006 or the beginning of 2007.

And SO THAT'S WHAT THEY MEAN when CA peeps go crazy for Pump It Up! MGL's the only place that holds it! I get it now. (I don't get how to do 'get it's' yet.)

- ParaParaParadise 2nd Mix
- DDR Extreme
- DDR 4th Mix
- Initial D v3 pair
- Dance Maniax 2nd Mix
I think that's it. I hope the profit and revenue earned from these machines can finally get us a IIDX cabinet.

Hey, is the PIU Zero machine still functioning?

I now have 15 songs on my USB drive ready for play on an ITG2 machine. I even took to SHORTENING a song because it was too long (R176 is originally 2 minutes and 6 seconds long, but I shortened it to 1 minute and 47 seconds, fading out at 1:41.5).

It was nice to play PIU in a real AC machine again... however, I committed an act of California sacrilege by not playing the ITG2 machine or DDR machine a single time the whole time I was there... but it's only because I can commute to a place with those 2 machines anytime I want really but cannot play PIU anytime I want.
Thankfully, all those teenagers at the place today kept playing DDR and ITG2 and never contested use of the PIU machine for me, although it's kind of depressing to be the only one playing the machine from 11:30 A.M. to 3 P.M.
By the way, Drummania = officially awesome. Played 4 rounds of it today and realized that PIU/IIDX experience != skill at DM; the foot pedal is my Achilles heel apparently.
The only thing to complain about is:
1) DDR Supernova is so LOUD. Distracting to hear Golden Sky while playing BOTW2
2) Daikenkai is blaring everywhere; it's a good song, but... Oh well, at least I didn't hear Xepher or Doll once today, and that surprised me; wasn't too fond of hearing some of the barely acceptable US exclusives for Supernova either...

I hardly see anyone playing PIU Zero when I'm there anyways!
Oh, the next time I go to Golfland (which is possibly November 20th, spending 20 bucks alongside with my sister), I'm gonna try to bring my USB drive and a camcorder to record me playing my custom songs.
I never knew SuperNova was THAT loud. Either that, or the PIU Zero machine has its volume DOWN.
