I would go play more if it were a different version. I'm very bored of DistorteD but I still try to go play to support the machine. I doubt an upgrade is in the near future but one could hope...

Calm down...and it's not like RVGL has the best track record of keeping it's non DDR Bemani upgraded. Remember what version drummania was before we finally got V4? Also, I said not in the near future. So, prove me wrong and I'll be happy.

What's with the hate? I don't know if you work there, but if you do hopefully you're smart enough to realize that swearing at your customers isn't exactly the best way to garner patronage.

RVGL has a terrible track record with keeping machines current and working, and it's been that way for a decade. Remember the CM2 machine that they let die when upgrades were easily available? Or GF/DM, which was left at 8th mix for three years?

GolfLand is a business that wants to make (it make) money. If they foresee a net income of receipts for an upgrade versus the cost of the upgrade they will try to upgrade; if they don't, then they won't.

Guitarfreaks was on V and DM was at 9th...couldn't even session! But yea, I don't wanna play on DistorteD when I've been playing on it at home for years. I've played Troopers but not nearly as much. Would definitely put money into the machine even though I got fired last week

Shoulda bought a pop'n machine instead of that crap Guitar Hero cab.

I think we've established that the only golfland that upgrades anything is SVGL.

Sorry to add to your hate Fest on Golflands, Am from Arizona and the only thing mesa golfland ever keep up well was DDR and GF/DM(at least up till 10, then later v2 and v4). IIDX was ok till 9th came out but that was due to different hardware issues we cant upgrade right away. Then later on we got RED. What I dont understand is when we had 5th-8th style making all that money why MGL couldnt upgrade too 9th right away with the rest of the world. I really hate missing out on getting to play IIDX songs on a new Style along with the rest of the world just because the company doesnt think its such a hot game that doesnt make money like DDR does, And its been like that ever since 9th Style came out. Now nobody play IIDX at MGL anymore cause as u may already know, we got Troppers but they also they decided to buy a new HD tv(u already know where am going with this).So the HD tv at first was really really off sync bad. So bad u couldnt even past a song. Then some of the normal MGL goers talk with some of the ppl at A.I. and help with some of the reason it might be off and answer to help fix it. Well for two weeks it became playble to the point where u could past stuff with an A, maybe AA, very rare AAAing. Now its back to being off sync again. After ppl complain and Bitch about it, there doing nothing about cause according to them. It makes money. So the IIDX there a lost cause now and most go to Gameworks to play GOLD(even at GW nasty prices) or stay at home playing Troppers CS. MGL pretty LAME.

SO my Point.....HOpELY your guys GL IIDX goes better then are. Cause nobody play at are MGL. All we can hope now in AZ is if GW pick up a an unlock Empress copy now.

Yay! GOLD. The timing on that is amazing compared to DisgayteD also, the song list is going to be bigger and better than just GOLD. ;-D. Will let you all know when it gets installed

No. The shipping of the GOLD Kit is going to take alot longer than what we had planned. Sorry, the minute it has arrived, I will post here. Until then, go play DistorteD. Go play believe...? on IIDX RED. Best song forever.
