Smile A school rec room in the thought process.

I'm thinking of creating a rec room when I become a junior 2 years from now at my school. Though I don't really know what room it may be in (I may be moving school locations by then) and I don't really know the size of said nonexistant room, I just wanted to know what would be a good vendor (online or not) to go to for the games and such.

The rec room will most certainly have:
1 foosball table
1 billiard table (with a set of equipment) and
1 air hockey table

Depending on the size (about 30" x 30" or over), I may also add arcade cabinets in there as well. Possible choices so far are:
Marvel vs. Capcom 2
House of the Dead 1
DonPachi
Tetris
The Simpsons
Pac-man and
Galaga

I'm going to try and save up lots of money until then. I can predict all this will cost over 2 grand. Looks like I'll be saving a lot by then.

This is the wrong board but I have to ask anyway: why would you spend all that money on games that you would have to leave at SCHOOL? Why not buy them and leave them at your house so you could actually use them?

(Oh. This is the wrong forum? Okay, then. Where should this be in then so I won't make the same mistake again?)

I guess you're right. It's just that some schools and colleges have rec rooms, and I was thinking of making a rec room for my school. My school doesn't really want their funds to go to this room, so I (or a group of people) have to save up the dough to make one. A friend and I were planning on saving up for it, but I guess you made your point, there.

You can move this topic to the respected forum if you would like...or you could lock it. (Your point + being in the wrong board pretty much killed the thread anyway.)
