It has been way too long since I have been there. I'm assuming the machines are still in decent shape, correct?

I havent been there in a while myself, but speaking from experience, svgl will still dominate anything you get up in sac (and likely everywhere else in norcal). To answer your question though, the machines are usually kept in pretty good shape.

Some of the screens are starting to go awry. The IIDX machine's monitor is starting to burn, meaning that some images are lightly burned on the screen (BPM counter for one). The DM and DDREX machines are beginning on a slow green-tint fade starting on the left side. These don't really hinder gameplay though.

I came today for about 40 minutes after being bored with Paramount's Great America. Just a couple of sessions of IIDX and that was it. I met this guy, whose name I never learned, but he was pretty good. Played AA [a] and failed .

I should've gone while I was at Fanime. However, I was too afraid that I'd get assraped by hotel parking fees if I left there. Oh well, no V2 for me. =/

I have never been here although I live in the Bay Area... Now that there is a Happy Sky machine there I must go sometime.

One Question: Is the ITG machine a Dedicated Cabinet or a converted one? I really want to show my friend the smoothness of a dedi-cab.

I went here a few weeks ago and everything was pretty good. There was a problem with the ITG2 screen that seemed to bend the image and the P1 pad up arrow was a bit iffy, but apart from that everything I played was fine.

SVGL is awesome though, just because it has such a great selection.

And to answer your question, ITG2 is an upgrade.

The Screen has always been like that. It doesn't really affect gamplay.

By far, SVGL is the best arcade in the Bay amongst the other Golflands in the Bay Area, in terms of game selection.

Sunday when? In the afternoon or at night?

Also, Arctures, please post some sort of description of what you look like. During Wednesday's arcademania Ver2 was saying how you always seem to "hide" from the regulars. I said - at least I think - I saw you once, and he started asking me "Is that Arctures? Is that Arctures?" for everyone who played IIDX.
