Yo, I'm visitin' the Bay Area from Vegas on July 30th-August 1st. On any given days, my friends over there and I will visit SVGL. If in case you see me, I'll be wearing a black Amp baseball cap w/a white cloth tied around my head and a black shirt w/ either a Storm Virtual Gravity t-shirt, a lamb of god t-shirt, or an Iron Maiden t-shirt. I'll be mostly playing EMPRESS and mess around w/ other Bemani games.

Everybody but the scared civilians play Technika. They'll pass by and notice that there's like, 8 people in line for one single game, and then they'll goggle at the guy playing and lean over the pinball machines, but they all leave...

I don't understand that either. I mean, if someone is still watching when it's my turn to go up, I'll ask 'em if they want to go. Most of em say yes.

Remember there is usually a card line or a queue written down on a piece of paper, so you can add yourself to the line and go off to play other stuff while you wait. You don't necessarily have to sit there and watch 9 other people play (although that is a good way to learn the charts if you aren't familiar with them, IMO..)

yeah, i know how the line systems usually work, but i usually hang out and wait for my turn after putting up a card so that i dont miss my turn. i wouldnt expect anyone to come looking for me, as its not fair to other people to have to wait for me and all, so i hang out. i can probably just pass time playing fighters though, they're all right there.

Yeah, the problem with doing something like that is if you go play pop'n or something and your turn is up you're screwed.

But then again I don't play that much technika because I am not down there enough.

I'm pretty sure tonight had the longest card line I've ever seen on Technika. I didn't even have a place to put mine once my turn was up :<

For the folks that I've met since starting out in Technika, this is DJ >Judas. The ">" is an unfortunate typo that I didn't notice until about 8 or 9 games in.
