I'm not sure who that woman is, and given the low number of girls who play Technika, that's a bit surprising.

There were 14 players in the tournament total, and a few others who were just watching, so overall it was pretty damn good. The corner was very packed, especially near the end.

Sin + Fade In/Blind/Random is just insane. I only just managed to pass it without mods tonight (and a C, no less!), so major congrats on that, Josh. I'm sad that I had to leave early and miss out on the epic-ness.

I had a blast playing in the tournie, though. First time I've ever been in any sort of organized competition. I honestly didn't expect to make it past round two (let alone be there for nearly 8 hours), so I left satisfied overall

Definitely count me in for the next one!

There should definitely be other music game tournaments sometime. If Technika can bring 14 people, who knows, we might draw 6 for Drummania!

Just a friendly reminder to everybody: please treat the machines with care. Though Ron and some of the patrons (namely Corey) are adept at fixing any problems that arise it still takes time and effort on their part, as well as Golfland funds. If you're going to mash or anything, do so lightly. Most importantly learn from my mistake and always keep food or drink away from any part of the machine where it might spill on the buttons.

I'm bringing this up because today we fixed one of the keys on the right side of IIDX and toward the end of Arcademania the left side started sticking, for the second time in a couple of weeks. I'm a right-side player, but a couple of my good friends play left so make sure whatever side or game you play on you treat it with respect. I know with regular use the machines are bound to break every now and then but a little attentiveness on the part of the player can mean they'll work for a lot longer.

I have a RE and Empress CS is coming out in less than a week.

There's gonna need to be some huge shit happening at SVGL for me to go back there now.
