That thing has been dying slowly over the past few weeks. I could barely get it to register a week ago with upside-down sticks. Sad to say, but with V5 installed, more functional pads and the volume cranked, San Jose's kits are superior at the moment. GF + Gain Up or simply sessioning drowns out the Guitar Hero AC quite nicely.

Oh, Star of Muse being on the menu is a nice perk, too

They tossed V5 at SJGL?

You must. They fixed up BOTH guitars (no more missing buttons or wobbly necks!), apparently tuned up the DM pads, fixed the link and cranked up the volume after the V5 install. The hard drives have the same settings from SVGL as well, so Long versions are still 2 tracks and it's fully unlocked. The snare is a little touchy (aim for the top half of the pad), but it's probably the most functional you'll find in this area at the moment. Plus, they installed blacklights in the arcade!

i can vouch for SJGL's DM being good, played on it last thursday and saw V5 in there and figured it prolly got thrown in there from SVGL. and the blacklights are cool, except i think they're only putting them up for halloween

we should go complain saying we like the lights and they should keep them, i like it in there...

I keep forgetting. SJGL is the one with the 3 Waterslides that's close by a Westfield, right (The one with the 300 Bowling Alley)?

I've been there about 3 times in my life. I think it actually may have been two, but I just have rarely gone there.

I went to SJGL, once, on a field trip. Unfortunately, instead of spending time with friends or checking out all the games I ended up playing a fuckton of WMMT2. =/
