Platinum Christmas indeed. Now to just wait and just simply be optimistic instead of expecting something.

Anyways, I've finally cleared Heartbeat. Fuck you Colours of Sorrow TP with your annoying Repeat Note -> Double Note sections that don't like me, causing me to fail 99% of the time (okay, I know it's really the placement of my fingers and the timing of the taps, but it's still a bullshit section until you perfect it). You've finally been beaten (last week/two weeks ago, I forget which.). Got a DJ Rank Up at the same time I passed it.

More recently (yesterday during Arcade Mania), I got an All Combo on Miles PP. I got a picture of that (blurry, but still shows an All Combo). After that, I decided to do the rest of the High Score set. Ended up getting 1 Miss on Remember (FFFFF that was an All Combo you dumb machine), then a standard A on SSSS (still can't all combo the Drum Part because the end of 2nd swipe on it). Final score pushing me up to 13th and less than 100 Points (If I recall correctly) under Chun's score on Pop.

My phone did not want to save those pictures though (Final Results & Rankings), making them appear as corrupt files. If only my actual camera didn't break. I have no idea how the hell it happened anyways, but that's besides the point. I'll just have to do it again another time. Hopefully when I have a camera that works and isn't just my Cell Phone.

On the topic of SVGL Technika II, I'm down for any day it would be. It'll just be a matter of getting there (on time).

Also, just so people know where I stand when it comes to scheduling, here's my schedule for Saturdays in December --

December 5: I'm taking the JLPT 3-kyuu the next day, so I'd rather not, but otherwise I'm totally free.
December 12: Totally free.
December 19: I'm booked helping to set up, cook for, and tear down for a party hosted by a friend of mine.
December 26: I'll be out of town with family.

Of course, because it's the holidays, there's potential for a weekday tourney if everyone's schedule lines up just right. I can also do Sundays (except for 12/6), but for the most part I won't be able to get to SVGL until 1 (by virtue of parents dragging me to church).

Once again, suggestions or ideas?

edit Okay, so Empathy just told me he's coming back up here on the 9th, which makes December 12 the only Saturday I could pull it off and have him in.

But, of course, priority goes to any day on which the most people can make it. So if more people prefer December 5 or January 2 or 9 or weekdays or something, then let's do that. But it's up to you guys, because you guys know what your schedule's like and I'd like to get as many people in as possible.

Played some good iidx this fine morning... got the machine scores on OML (aaa -127 fffff hot spectator), Mendes (yay I can do it now :3), and a few 10s... Sync I think was one of them. AA'd all the sweets songs, BCS can bite me. Raised the Nageki score again too, so close to the AA I can taste it. I'll get it next week or the week after that.

Overall not bad for only starting 6 months ago after not playing for about 2 years. Yee.

The machine was being cool this morning and crashing on startup for like 20 minutes, and then refusing to power on for another 5. It seemed ok when I left except the calibration seemed extra shitty. Or maybe I just suck.

Either way, be currful.
