Haha yeah that was my reaction I was playing Silver course and accidently picked hard because my instinct is to turn it on at the start of every game. Made it out of the scales with 2%, didn't have a slap random on the chords it was more of a smash random which is my favorite type.

Wasn't even gonna reply, but

first off before today I'd only played like 2 games of IIDX the entire week (when I came in Tuesday night right before closing). I wipe my sweat off after every single game if not every song and frequently go to the bathroom to rinse my face off. I used to hit the keys really hard but Corey mentioned it to me a couple months ago after he saw me mashing them and since then I've been much, much gentler. Most weeks I play more games of IIDX than anyone else at SVGL, so I ask you, why would I take bad care of my favorite game? THAT DOES NOT. MAKE. SENSE.

Think next time before you guys go pointing fingers.

EDIT: Also yes the key is sticking I didn't notice until my 3rd or 4th game today but I saw Ron there tonight so it's probably already been fixed.

Probably not, considering I haven't bothered telling Ron that the 1P side turntable has a several millisecond lag and some of the keys seem to misfire randomly, either.

Shit, when you said you were gonna have Ron fix it I assumed you were coming back at some point and you'd tell him yourself, my bad. Last time this happened with 1P I just had Dave switch the button with one from the big bag below the machine and it worked perfectly. If I don't see Ron next time I'm there I'll just do that again.

idk, the 1P side feels like dicks and my scores are representing that fairly well :\

don't mean to sound ungrateful or anything... just seems worse than it was in summer before I left for college this year.

In a day or two I'll see what I can do about both the sticky key on the right and the turntable on the left since I'm guessing no one's told them specifically what's wrong with it.
