Nah man. The whole arcade needs god. You have games where the start button don't work, buttons not in the right place, a fighter with 5 buttons and only 3 of them work and the DDR pads needs to be clean some time. Its terrible how bad the place went down. And I'm not going to get on their Guitar Freaks

I don't like how hot it gets in there. If you want something fixed you might have to go there 9 AM or 10 AM, at least that's what I heard. If you're going to go to this arcade, you'll want to go there mainly for fighting games, playing bemani games there is a waste of time.

I asked the clerk if there were getting a new DDR. He said no, repeatedly...

I then asked him if he knew what I was talking about, seeing that he doesn't speak a word of English. He said no, repeatedly...

*sigh* i hate Super Arcade

Seeing as they don't have a new IIDX or DDR, and aren't planning on getting one...that results in my hatred for Super Arcade.

:\ Back to college means walking across for S.A.

I miss Pop'n Music. I may not go there offten now, since the machine is NOT WORKING. DX Unless I go there in the morning and ask nicely if it works. :\

As for DDR... Major cleaning would be good. Because I play it for a bit if Pop'n is not working. Same goes for IIDX, but only to try to pass Bad Boy Bass in Light7. (Yea. I'm a n00b-ish player. :V)

EWW! Necro-bump!

I can't help it. Thanks to my new oddball Spring Semester schedule, I can visit there more now on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

There are some changes with the arcade.
  • GFDM had V6 up. It runs well, or at least for me. I still play bad at both games, so I won't be touching them. 3 tokens to play.
  • Some installments like XBox 360 Live "stations"... I think it's like a dollar for three hours I think? :\
  • Your favorite Street Fighter, Tekken 3, and other recent fighting games are good and running... But appearance wise does not beat against the beauty from A.I.
  • DDR EX is not ITG2. I'm not kidding. I'll be playing it more because it has MungyoDance. (Now don't go hattin' on me!) If you want to know on what it looks like... View here. Mind my failtastic gameplay. Gained a few fat on the past months I think. Again, 3 tokens to play!
  • Not really new, but i'm wondering about the Pop'n machine.. It's not there anymore. Then again it's in the worst condition than IIDX/DDR.

I'll probably be the only "furry" (only bunny-ears though) in this arcade raiding a bit of ITG2 if i'm up to torturing my legs on those songs. (But I admit, they are pretty fun for a straining 8-footer on the last two vids...) But I can't guarantee that it'll be the same as A.I. (A.I. is awesome, period.)

I forget, was this the place that had a working Taiko machine or was that Japan Arcade?

Not to hijack the thread or anything, but the Taiko in Japan arcade. Is it actually playable and would I have to bring my own taiko sticks or are there tethered ones? They arcade-required things I own are DM drumsticks.

It's playable if you choose the drum that doesn't have a hole in it.

although to be honest I haven't been to Little Tokyo in like 4 months (all my free weekend time has gone toward bus rides to Puente Hills Mall rather than little tokyo)

Does Super Arcade still take the Japan Arcade tokens? I found a bag of them cleaning my room.
