Canada Bemani Machine Locations (UPDATED Sept 18 2007)

Found an In The Groove 2 machine in the Cineplex Odeon at Morningside Ave and Highway 401 in Toronto. It used to be a pretty good Megamix machine, pad wise, but the ITG2 is in some of the best condition I've seen a machine in.

No pad misses, all holds work, handplant holds register no problem... you get the idea.

It's set at $1/3 songs, much like most machines around here are.

Downfall is that custom songs are not enabled on the machine; I forgot to check to see if it was R21 at all after I noticed that my songs weren't loading up.

The South Edmonton Common Cineplex Odeon has a DDR Extreme 2 machine, I think - I may be headed there later today, I'll double check what machine it is.
The tokens get cheaper if you buy with a 20 at the machine, it works out to about fifty cents a play, I think. Cheapest in Edmonton. :3
Downside, the pads are a little iffy. I'm no pro, but they seem to stick a little.

Asked them if they would eventually upgrade to IIDX Gold. One of the employees told me the place hasn't been doing well lately. I really doubt they'll upgrade but they took note of my request and should forward it to their manager. Still, asking is better than doing nothing. I'll ask the amusement 2000 at peel when I get the chance.

Actually, Complete Mix 2 has some of the best 5key songs in existence and can be upgraded to Beatmania: THE FINAL. Trust me, it's still fun to play. As for them upgrading to GOLD...I sadly doubt that since they would need a whole new machine.

Update to "The Cue" at U of A in Edmonton -

Drummania is the 9th Mix, and DDR Extreme is $1.00 for 4 songs. I don't know about Drummania though, I suck at it, and haven't made it past the 1st...

Edit: Sorry, DDR Extreme is $1 for FIVE songs, and you can do Versus at no extra charge.

The Drummania machine says 9th Mix, but the game says PercusionMasters 9th Mix. $1 for 3 songs, unless you play on the Hard difficulty.
