anyways, i'm gonna introduce myself just for fun!

I'm Matt, got into Bemanis because of DDR 5 years ago... was a jerkass on DDRFreak and got bored when I cleared everything on Extreme... I also got into IIDX for sometimes back in my DDR days but I kind of gave up because I couldn't progress much with only 3rd-6th styles (others weren't released yet..)

Now I've been playing ITG for the past 3 months and purchased BMUS for the controller. Got all styles and I'm improving at IIDX more and more, with only the horrible 7-keys charts to clear, and a bunch of anothers.

Can't wait for HS either, but I still have the 8+ to pass on Red, and several anothers on 10th and Red

I wish I could sometimes play some IIDX with other players, so I could learn some tips and methods, so if you guys ever do something special, I could be interested

I don't bite, lol.

lol, maybe we should plan something where we all go to this one arcade to play on the machines together.

anyone have any good ideas? we would have to meet at the same date, time and place.

btw, i haven't properly introduced myself. My name is anthony, I got into DDR about a year ago and I live in montreal (already mentioned).

But on bemanistyle 6.0, we talked about a bemani party at Red-Dee's house.... =/

you mean amusement 2000? the one near the peel metro? that one is good, the arcades in the shopping mall at langelier and jean-talon (pinoocio) is a little cheaper (0.75$ at amusement 2000 or 0.50$ at jean-talon). however, amusement 2000 is better quality (all the games work) so it's better if you don't mind paying a little extra.

They seriously need a Beatmania IIDX at Amusement 2000.

It's the only place where they could actually make money with it.

Guys, in the Montreal area, what are the good arcade places and what IIDX styles are there? In my area, there's only a DDR Extreme and a GF9thDM8th.

I might go to the Carrefour Angrignon soon with my brother-in-law to see if there's a GF arcade there.

They have GF 11th mix if I remember correctly.

There's no IIDX machine in the whole province, though.

I heard that the amusement La Prise (longueuil, SouthShore) is having the new DDR SuperNova....=/ I don't know, been awhile I haven't got to the arcade....

ah seriously... we Beatmania freaks should meet at someplace and play beatmania all day long hahahaha

Well in "Angry Nun" the arcades there... they have Super NOVA.. am not used to it.. feels very off sync.. and harder to get AA :S.. anywho i talked to my friend who knows the arcade bussiness.. and they say bout getting beatmaniaIIDX is nearly impossible all cause of the beatmania... the owners are mixing beatmania and IIDX together... they see it they all talk bout their exp with it.. and say nope it won't make money.. I've been trying for 2 years now.. i really need the help guys.. hearing from 1 person talkin bout IIDX is not helping, they need to see that there are people that are interested in the game. right now i am in a hurry so it may not make sense what am saying but try to understand ATM thx :P

it's really different playing IIDX at home, than the arcades it's like DDR in the arcades and DDR on a sift pad..

yea.. so i am getting back into DDR (OH NOOO!!!) Supernova is growing on me LOL! i really need to see how to play Healing-D-Vision and Chaos ... they look fucked up lol!

Only played IIDX songs LOL >.<

sight.. We seriously need IIDX here, I talked to the manager @ La Prise and he also seems to be confused with Beatmania and IIDX... (though i didnt said "IIDX" to him lol ^-^)

Anyways, I'd like to have this arcade experience one day... T_T

Yo Red what places in Toronto did you go to and what Bemani arcades did they have besides Happy Sky (GHDM and Pop'n related) ? I'm seriously thinking about going there one day just to try some BM and Pop'n on something else than my PS2

Or maybe somewhere more closer
