did you use to play Reverse in DDR Reddeemania? I think I know you !
I used to post in TGL forums too under Monkey_Style I think.
TGL community was the best back in the days. It was more friendly and less competitive then the ITG community now. | |

For Max 300 and Maxx Unlimited... I despise them abit since Max 300 is basically try to find what the step chart artist took which beat to follow since we all know we could edit it and so many stepcharts would be perfect for it, many possibilities.
And Maxx Unlimited... really wanted to stick to DDR Extreme's newest gun [Woo freeze arrows!] and make it a bitch all around the track.
What I like in ITG is definitely the choice of arrows and how they can't blend to the background, no matter which mod [Metal, Cel, Robot, Flat, Vivid], increasing the range of the beats so we can hit the notes we couldn't even think of hitting before. Every DDR song could be modified to go really specific, but it could be monstrous for some [PSMO ITG style - *homer simpson yelp*]
What I like about the ITG music, it's the variety. Don't get me wrong, lots of variety in DDR too [I'm talking about systems that are around my town, I've never seen the others in action] One fine example is Anubis with the egyptian themed feeling. The expert was sacrilage though, as the stream is nearly impossible to follow, but if you ever play it, put the edit [Jeff The Pharaoh] and you'll know why I love this song so much.
As for VeRtEx^2... we all know it's pure chaos, hard to pass because of the BPM. I personally don't like the VeRtEx series neither, but you gotta be proud when you pass those. Queen of Light, god I love this song on expert [51 hands] and the music is again inspiring to play. Pandy [Pandemonium] is much more motivating then the VeRtEx^2 and Summer -Speedy Mix- [That on expert] I really like to play the standard/normal version of it because I know it isn't a bitch at all once you know it all.
And the big debate on which is better.... does people have better things to do than to compare two awesome rhythm based games??? They're both great in their categories, neither one is better than the other. My dollar belongs to both machines, and if I ever see a PIU or Beatmania machine, trust me, my dollar WILL go there aswell.

To red: Do you play 14keys? I was wondering how it feels to play double in IIDX...
I need to develop my left hand... =/
