The only place I can really think of to buy a chipped PS2 is Ebay. My best friend chipped mine with a DMS3 3 years ago and it works like a charm. Only problem is I can't play any Bemani Psone games because they're protected so I'm gonna buy a Japanese PS2 anyways.

I don't really trust any store. I'm lucky enough to know someone who can do that stuff for me for free

Well not really for free since I paid for his chip but that's another story.

The point is, the DMS3 was a bitch to install, there was like 17 or 25 points to solder I don't really remember, it took him 12 hours because we didn't have the proper equipement to do the job but he took his time and did a really good job.My first time ever with a mod-chip and like I said, I'm pleasantly surprised.

I said Ebay in my previous post but thinking about it, I don't think it's a really good idea to buy a used PS2 online with the bad DRE batch.

If I knew how to do it, I'd do it for you but I'm a total dummy

I'd pay you friend to mod my ps2!!! thing is mne is a model... and one of the very first... with a prot in tha back lol wonde if he can do it... or even better get a swap magic or something

yea mur mur i was suposed to hold a BEMANI Party.. but i wanna wait till i get IIDX 11... so it be more fun with rival data and all.. and yet i try to get a modded ps2 and no luck

Yeah your first little party was nice If You get your Ps2 Modded I'll give you the BeatMania IIDX Games you don't have on PS2. Me I need to buy and chip one cause I only got Beatmania US with controler and dvd rip of BMIIDX 3 to 11 . I play when I can at friend's place lol or on emulator on my comp but i'm still a noob at this game lol ... can't pass any lvl 7 song this game is hard lol... I though I'll be good at this game cause I play piano but forget it lol its not the same... I suck so bad at beatmania.. and do any one of you know if there is beatmania 3 in Canada ?

It'll be hard to play on it I guess, since I play 7 keys...

(Like when I did the jump of 5keys to 7keys on beatmania... omg, was like hell. Using 5keys technique on 7keys... useless)

But I'm warning you, I'm not good at any Bemani yet ( 7 foot at DDR, L7 5stars at BM) but I plan to be really good at Guitar Freaks when they finally release the Guitar ASC.

In other words, don't Beatmania-challenge me, you'll kick my ass

Btw, if we're ever to have a Bemani party, I have a lot of Bemani stuff so we could have a blast.

To play Healing-D-Vision you need to select Medium at the beginning. Get the extra stage (AA final stage) and you get Healing-D-Vision instead of Fascination Maxx.

Everytime I played Healing-D-Vision I got OMES (Chaos) and I cleared Healing-D-Vision only with a A.

Has anyone cleared Fascination Maxx in Quebec yet?

well i heard of someone almost passin it... and yea to get Chaos u jus need to pass HDV on beginner or medium... OR "A" Fascination MaxX... no more AA-in Extra stage LOL! kinda cheaply cool!! i tried HDV 1ce.. and failed lol cause of 1 strupid part lol!but i know chaos is a bitch wit all those damn freezes i hate thoose.. I still wonder if u pass a song if it becomes unlockable??

well that will help A lot!! especially with that sexy pop'n controller u have!! wow and it's ok to suck at bemani.. we all go through it lol... it's all about having fun!!.. thats what i see bemani games as anywho... never was the i'm better than u type of person!

I suck at it too even if its been like 2 years that I play it.... I'm more a DDR/ITG player and I'm a beginner at Guitar freak and BMIIDX... can clear only lvl 6 songs.
