General Information for the Females only ITG Tournament

Basic Info
Name: Pink Fuzzy Bunnies goes LOLOL - Females ONLY ITG Tournament
Day of the tournament: July 22, 2006. (Registrations are from 10-11am)
Entry Fee: $10
Location: Funland Arcade (Downtown Toronto- 334 Yonge St.)

Qualifier Song: TBA at the Tourney. (No random mod)

Tournament Format:
-Swiss Style Pairing
-Double-Elimination
-Best 2 out of 3 songs per match

Rules of the Tournament:
-FEMALES ONLY (duh!).
-Forced 'RANDOM' (a.k.a. DDR shuffle) MOD on all songs (including the tie breaker).
-Speed and CMOD modifiers are allowed as long as they don't DQ you for the song played.
-No other mods are allowed other than the ones mention above.
-Minimum difficulty of 5-block songs are played.
-Wins are determined by the higher percentage of the song.
-Player who fails their own song will be granted an automatic lost for that song.
-Tie breaker will be a ‘hard’ difficulty song and chosen with 'chance' on the song wheel.

Prizes of the Tournament:
*Note that distribution of cash prizes would change depending on the number of entrants entering on the day of the tournament.
Prizes: (For less than 16 entrants)
1st: $50 + ITG3 Theme Prize Package! (Includes the Smiley package!)
2nd: $20 + ITG2 Theme Prize Package! (Includes the Smiley package!)
3rd: $15 + Smiley Prize Package!

Prizes: (For 16 or more entrants)
1st: 60% pot + ITG3 theme prize package! (Includes the Smiley package!)
2nd: 30% pot + ITG2 theme prize package! (Includes the Smiley package!)
3rd: 10% pot + Smiley Prize Package!

Having 16 or more entrants would increase the cash prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd to at least $96, $48 and $16 respectively! So the more people, the bigger the cash prizes!

And all entrants receives a free gift for participation! Like Diane (a.k.a. oayao) said, "what else could be better?" :wink:

I would also like to make note that the prize packages are not official RoXor products. These packages have been bought and put together personally by me and Diane to help promote both ITG2 and the up coming game, ITG3!

The tournament turn out to be an success. We had a total of 10 participants. When had a participant who travel all the way from Montreal and one from Newfoundland. The raffle game was extremely fun. There were close matches from beginning of the qualifers to the intense matches in the finals. (ie. 2 tri-stars that were 1 excellent from each other! :shock: ) Congratulations to the winners:

2nd Mellissa (Mihara) Won $25 + ITG2 Theme package + Smiley package
3rd Jen (jdls) Won $15 + Smiley package
