*looks at the dead thread*.

Well, since my skill is high enough, I cannot be in the Alberta TKD tourney, oh well, im still going to the Tigerbalm tournament .

This should still be fun.

Then I might see you rofl

I don't recall that they had TKD though... will you be enrolling in the free sparring or something?

Your skill is too high for a tournament? How is that possible.

it could make sense, though I know crap all about TKD. in some things there are skill grades for competitions - like, 'newbie only' competitions or something like that. happens in tennis. I can't play 3.0 tennis tournaments as I played 3.0 for a year and ranked in the top 5 - now I have to play 3.5 or higher. could be that kind of deal.

Thats quite alright Aeiryu and Checky .

Heres the story:

I was in Sun Hang Do (A korean martial art that had WTF-Style TKD (World Taekondo Federation) (yeah I know, nice initials lmao). AAAnywayz, I was in that for 8 years, so im familier with most of TKD's techniques. I had to leave Sun Hang Do, because they were assholes and couldnt cut me a 3-year-contrcat deal, that and the martial art itsself, lost all meaning.

So I decided to join ITF (International Taekwondo Federation), so far, its pretty good, but I have to work on my stances lol. But the instructor is pretty impressed with my skills (so far), eventhough I cant sparr in the tournament. The reason is, because everyone there, is a beginner, compared to me basically. Since I have enough skill to score in a few points, my opponent would'nt have much of a chance (because he has trained less then me ).

I hope that sums everything up.

oh, and here are some OLD school pics of me back in the early 2000's :

Heres me playing GF (this was back in 2001 I think):

and here's me after a party I went to (back in 2000), lmao I look like I just killed somebody hahaha:

OHHHH that's you!

I remember seeing you play Cries In The Wilderness on auto-bass some time a year and a half ago or so. I thought HAH! that's EASY! and tried it with manual bass, then died in like 20 seconds. then like half a year later I actually managed to get it. =) I think it was the second level 90 I passed (after Cockpit), though IMBW.

Haha D: Did I? I guess I haven't familiarized myself enough with what you look like yet. My bad. Were you the one that is pretty darn good at the game? I think I saw someone doing Bloody Tears another.

Ahhh, Checky...I knew you/that dude today at CHQ must be on BMS or something. I was the guy playing 8s/9s on IIDX and failing miserably at Pop'n. That coin slot in the DJT machine is pretty jacked up, huh?
