The cymbal at CHQ is half broken as of yesterday. (01/30/07). Tried it myself!! Woah, yeah, I know what your thinkging. But I do play DM when noone is watching XD. Managed to get an S on Famiresu EXT. But be careful, entire left side of the cymbal wont register no matter how hard you hit it. Good luck!! V3 guitar is pretty good now, got a 93-1 on Over There on the 2P side and 90-5 on White Tornado. The fixed the broken white button on Pop'n, even though the volume still sucks, and the Taiko machine pads are still unresponsive.

... you forgot to mention how it's so crowded and stuffy there. Who needs to pay for a sauna? Simply wear a parka to CHQ.

CHQ cymbal works fine when you hit it as hard as I do.

of course, me playing famiresu with my 'enthusiastic' technique is probably half the reason the cymbal keeps breaking...

went in for a couple of quick games today. I was totally sure I'd FC'ed Bittersweet for the first time, then the summary screen came up and I had one miss. I think I missed the very first cymbal beat somehow. grrrr. only two goods as well. could be my second SS I think, with a few more tries.

passed Black Out for the first time though (third try). yay. and got closer than ever to finishing Atalante (died about two bars from the end, d'oh.)

ok, so in case anyone's interested, i just went and checked out the aberdeen arcade - it's hidden at the back of the food court. dm10th / gf11th linked, three songs for a dollar, long songs count three, default difficulty (same as e-spot and chq v3), dm is in perfect condition but the sticks are tied to the machine with really thick flexible bike lock cord and the cord flayed my knuckles to pieces. the ONE time i didn't bring my own sticks, bah...

Yeah, I like Aberdeen for the fact that the guitar is 50cents.. However, 1player side is broken.. 2player guitar on the other hand is the best guitar i've ever played on, except for teh red button is replaced with some crappy little tiny button, and not a regular GF button.. it takes getting used to but i like the smaller button better, because it's green and shiny.

update on Rush:

went there with masa a while ago... yeah, they have GFV2, but DM...9?! roffles?!

and they took out Melty Blood from RPM... I just discovered it, too >_<

aer: really? I went in there and saw the DM9 sign, but I just figured the machine was upgraded and they hadn't changed the sigh...it's really a DM9 machine? That'd suck. Heh.
